You don’t, if Judge sees more than 4 pitches he’s going to either walk, or hit the ball very hard if you’re 3-1 or 2-0 on Judge, just walk him man

just dont throw fastballs or down the middle. hes always crushed fastballs, and you cant leak mistake pitches. throw the ball edge of the zone or out of the zone, and make sure it breaks or has lots of movement. he may out it out still but hes more likely to miss it or not put it over compared to fastballs or middle pitches. id rather walk him than give up a bomb

Pitchers today are pitching scared, you get Judge out by not pitching scared, pitch him hard inside, come up and in ya gotta then start going soft away. Eventually finish him with fastball up and away just off the plate or slider just off the plate down away

Analytics go against that move. In today's game you can't go against the analytics department because if anything goes wrong, somebody will get fired. Perfect example is Snell in the 2020 WS.

Hits for average, patient at the plate takes his walks, hits for Power .. Oh yea, he plays a great center field too . you take Judge out of that line up Yanks are a 4th place team in the division maybe last so how isn’t he the MVP

Best chance you get is Fastballs in/up and in and breaking/off-speed stuff down and away. You just have to hope to jam him on the inside pitches and get him to chase away. If he gets a hit or walks, you just tip your cap
@CoachAndrew77

That is in fact the general rule of thumb pitchers are taught from 10u and up. Hard in, soft away. Problem is, miss 3" one way it's in New Jersey, miss 3" the other way, it's an easy take. Easy to say hard to do against him. Walking him is the only answer because right now he is reading the serial number on the ball from 50 feet, but walking him destroys the joy of baseball.

It’s not like they don’t hit at all. Interestingly though, a lot of those batters hit better with RISP. Not exactly ideal to keep letting a runner on, the Yankees are patient at the plate and will take walks until you beat yourself

I got to hand it to the Astros man, they. just. don't. give. up. Even after the cheating scandal and the 2 WS losses in 3 years they're still one of the best teams in baseball. They are probably making it to the WS again unless something happens. Just watch out for the Dodgers.

@@okGM013 No one said he was terrible. Btw what an ancient expression...what was that from Robocop? Buy that for a nickel...mercy me! Yanks are more concerned about an individual accolade than finishing out a pennant race. Both NY teams are doing what they do best especially the Metropolitans. I thought Buck was going to prevent all of this from happening. Nah same ole same ole. A hot and cold offense no bullpen besides one pitcher. Pretty obvious both teams are NOT built correctly!
