How do you raid as a mulitboxer?

For the most part, high end guilds won't be bringing boxers to the raid (or shouldn't). The mechanics are too challenging for boxers to properly handle - unless the boxer is running something like Priest/4DPS teams or their tank just does nothing except pilot the group. Or they drop their tank and roll with their healer + DPS that's fine too. I think my 5box can contribute enough to the raid in like ZG/Aq20 to warrant bringing them - but for some bosses (like one that require a lot of movement or spreading out) I am still a waste of 5 slots.

@@DalotheMulitboxer I think most guilds would be ok bringing us to "alt night" MC raids, they may even enjoy bringing us in that case since they won't be able to fill the entire raid with alts (at least in my experience when they did 'Alt' raids the raid seldom got filled). It's going to be a case by case basis though. One of my guilds will let me raid on my boxes if I don't suck, specifically my healer and 3 warlocks. My whole 5 box with my Warrior is useless on raids for the same reason trying to fill a raid with a bunch of individual 5man groups (Tank/Healer/3DPS) would be useless on a raid.

@@Punix1337 It could work, you'd just need a few dedicated main tanks that arent boxing or are only boxing healer/tanks. Some encounters would be stupidly hard for all boxers though... Like AIDS in ZG or the spacing out your chars during rag or geddon's bomb

i would love to team up with other boxers to multi up in a raid. would be great to run MC with 8 different boxers playing 5 accs each :D I asked my main guild if they would have problems with me multiboxing and they would accept. i still feel that when it will come to loot you will be always inferior than the other full main-only characters in the raid and that feeling itches me a bit. however, im far away from raiding with my team anyway atm

I have a team of 5 which includes 3 mages and I've been raiding with all 3. My guild loves it, the content is easy enough and I'm usually in the top 5 dps with all 3.
