How do you Rig a RagDoll in Cinema 4D (Alternate Method) | C4D Tutorial

Been playing with the Rag Doll model a lot lately and while messing with the Voronoi Fracture object I discovered that it can actually be used to make a crap but FAST version of the ragdoll artist dummy guy that I have been giving so much punishment to lately...

Nice technique for getting good looking result fast, thanks for sharing! (Though a still trying to work around when using other models than the C4D Figure). Btw, I tried with ignore collisions on the connector and it made it look a bit more natural!

another way to do the voronoi fracture ragdoll it to use object a and b to to it and do the high number for force and torque. Helpful tutorial

hey nice video, i want to do the same with a character, i wanna make him free falling down with gravity. I made what you do with the ragdoll but doesnt work with another character, dont fall like the ragdoll. How can i make a free fall simulation for a character?

No, it’s only really good if you need some super fast or you are going for a goofy look. My newer RagDoll Experiments videos are done with one I remodelled myself and rigged in a similar way to the longer How to rig a ragdoll video.
