Weirdly enough, I saw a cheater duo (Dva and S76) today on Havana as well. The dps even tried to gaslight in match chat that the enemy was cheating and not him and his duo. Potg and the vod made it more than obvious. Pardon my French, but anti cheat system my ass

I understand ban wave theory. But they are losing the battle against cheating anyway. At this point why not prioritize the quality of the average gamer experience over mildly inconveniencing cheat developers for 3 hours once every 6 months?

yeah the ban waves are based on the anti cheat system detecting certain files and stuff, but how about detecting gameplay like spinning, every shot is a headshot, accuracy is 100%, etc, like are there no systems to detect those things?

Emongg missing three locks on an invis sombra at the beginning had me rolling bc he took the complicated, high level reason they were cheating bc he didnt notice that lol. Love the content tho its fun to see.

This is the reason I just completely stop playing the game after a couple weeks of the season. Also this makes the competitive ranking system nearly unplayable because its impossible to win against these people and the anti cheat isnt setup to detect these cheats yet.

Just want to mention, because a lot of these cheaters are so delusional they think they are doing everyone a favor by doing this. You're not helping anyone out by cheating in a game like this. Cheating is not going to make the devs change things to be more to your liking. And you should also realize that just because you like something one way not everyone will like it that way. You're super selfish for thinking that way in the first place, and by playing like this you've proven that you shouldn't be playing overwatch in the first place. I hope your MAC address from your modem gets banned and you have to call your ISP to get a new one in order to play again you sick people.

I was seeing cheaters basically every day all season. But the last few days I don't think I've had any cheaters in my games. Maybe they're cracking down a little more?

Those aren’t their actual battle tags. It’s kind of like a place holder of sorts. Sometimes the names are like this in replays and I’m actually not completely sure why this happens.

It's a part of the streamer mode in Overwatch 2. The randomisation of usernames including your own makes stream sniping harder applies to replays as well. Some names even advertise the cheats they use, so it's probably for the best not to give them unwanted advertisement.

it seems the lower the player count gets the more the cheater you find. I find 10 every time i play ow2 now a day's. sigh i miss ow1 less likely to find cheaters cause more people played an talked calling out the cheaters threw mic's. tho i find of cheaters are 90% Dps, 8% support, 2% tank.

I play daily for at least 4 hours and I almost never see them. I am mid diamond and in the last 2 months I've seen 1 maybe 2. Seems a lot of people attribute cheating to losses when they really aren't cheating.

@@SawyerFools i keep in gold i tried to go higher but the higher i got the sweatier it got an it made me hate playing so i keep myself in gold. were 90% of the player base is. i find cheaters in mass in gold. i found a sombra with a 100% accuracy an i was looking at it going ok that's not even possible an he literally said so what i cheat you can't do anything. some cheaters have the biggest ball's an then cry when you report an get the account banned. i also play 10-12 hours a day sometimes i need to stop playing it so much.

@@quiirvine865 lol cope i wish. but the more players in one spot the more likely you find cheaters. it don't happen every game after 400-600 games you bound to run into a handful or 2 through out you games. some on their 3rd account an still cheating. why people cheat is beyond me. I just report an move along an get a message a day or 2 later saying the cheater has been banned. i feel gold is the biggest filter of cheaters in OW2 since 99% of reports of cheating does come from there.
