Now I'm hooked, and my apartment is cleaner than it has ever been. I've been slowly adding some of these products to my home stock. I think you've said it best. This is not a glamorous business and it's something that I think you've been able to sustain because you have a genuine interest in cleaning, like a natural affinity for it. People get all too obsessed with the idea of making money that they forget to first enjoy the work they're doing before they're able to focus on how to make money to keep it going. You don't really love a job unless you can see yourself doing it for free.

I've always wanted to do this myself. Growing up, any time I went to a family members house or a friends house, I'd just start randomly cleaning because I enjoyed it. People would joke all the time that they want me to come to their house and clean lol. Sometimes people would get embarrassed and I felt bad about that. I always just told them that cleaning is enjoyable to me and I really love helping people. One time, I cleaned my grandmother's house and she was a smoker. After cleaning her walls she was like, "omg I thought I was going to have to paint and now I don't have to!" That made me very happy. Being good at cleaning was one thing I knew people liked about me so getting that praise was addictive lol. Once in awhile, I visit my parents and clean for them. It's something I've done for years.

@MeMyselfetMoi I never argue for the sake of being right, certainly not with fellow women, as I know we are all beautiful warrior queens. I am sure that there are ingredients that make it marketable, but sodium bi carbonate is baking soda and when you mix it with dawn it makes a paste, that is like a magic eraser in a bucket. I learned this accidentally because my littles wanted to make slime, and I had no contact lens solution or bottle of glue, but I had pounds of baking soda and dawn, which was an alternative recipe. It didn't make slime it kinda made putty so we played and as I started cleaning up I decided to use some extra to see if I could get a life-size crayon person off the wall, BAM rubbed it on dry rubbed in circles with my hand it came off like a magic eraser on steroids!! I use it for everything now! I don't know any of these things cause I'm great or anything. I'm mentally disabled (brain damage) I can't even make a meal anymore. But my allergies and OCD and inability to do much of anything else leave me to experiment and research a lot! Like unhealthy amounts. I experimented with the power paste, pink stuff, and slime fail. Compared ingredients and learned scientific names...it's an obsession, really. But really truly try it. You will never regret it!

I just wanted to stop by and thank you for your videos, for the instruction, for the humour, for the inspiration. Especially the inspiration! I have struggled with depression since I was a very little girl, about 6 (I'll be 56 in September so yeah, entire life). About 20 years ago my depression got really bad and my house showed how depressed I was. I was a single mom and I lived in absolute terror someone would see the absolute nightmare my house was and take my son away. Alas, that did not happen and now he's a 25yo father himself to a 2 month old son. His girlfriend and son are going to be moving in here, a different place, but it was really dirty as well because you never know when depression is going to hit plus add that I'm really lazy and...well anyway a couple months ago I happened upon this channel and started watching. Your techniques, the easily obtained products you use, your humour, and your absolute support of people like me has really changed my life. Right now if my landlord wanted to come in here I wouldn't freak out at all (well maybe a little bit because that's what I'm used to, it'll take time to get over that)! My place is clean and getting cleaner! So thank you, my dude, for everything. I would never have guessed 2 months ago how clean and organized my place would become! And also a huge thanks to Cleaning with Barbie because I watch her videos as well and she is also very inspiring! But I found her because you recommended her! I wish nothing but wonderful things to happen to you and I hope that the 'filth' that is your son finds a way to de-filth himself. One day, maybe. lol

HELL YEAH!! Love this kind of video. I took copious notes on the back of my pet armadillo. He's a bum though. But, I was stoked I had about 75% of the products you mentioned! (Thanks Momma!!💛🤙) I was hit by a drunk driver many years ago and had 3 back surgeries, not to mention the permanent nerve damage and leftover pain. Cleaning was never been anything I loved to do even BEFORE that happened. I do what I can, when I can. So anywhosVille, thanks for posting! Sending major blessings your way. 💛🖤💛

When you have run out of your Mr.Clean, you make your own cleanser (separate from the APC). Can you share your recipe for concentrations? I happen to love original Pine-Sol, and I'd love to use that in certain rooms - and not just floors. I appreciate you! I really enjoy our channel. Cheers!

Just started watching, always had trouble with cleaning. I'm now using your APC, I got some ultra fine microfiber cloths, regular ones, drill brushes and scouring pads, and some Mr clean and I'm actually staying on top of things. Thank you, from a fellow autist

When I was a young girl, I used to babysit. When I did, I also cleaned the whole downstairs and organized their kitchen cabinets and closets. I would also sometimes change the living room around. Then when the ladies that I babysat for came home, they were like so surprised and really liked what I did. Of course, I did not do it for extra money because we all lived in a project. Well most of us did anyway. Now I am handicapped and can hardly clean my own house. It takes me all day just to do the bathroom. It takes me two days to do the other rooms and I am talking about deep cleaning. I am not a hoarder but I do have a lot of things. I have no problem getting rid of stuff. It just takes me longer because of my illness. I think in the past 3 years, I got rid of about 15 trash bags of clothes, shoes and pocketbooks. I still have just a few more to get rid of. Then I won't have anything to wear! I am not on Medicaid so in order for me to get help, I would have to pay $24.00 an hour to get someone to help me clean! That is never going to happen with my pocketbook. I live in southeastern PA and the people here do not help people like me. I can't even pay kids to shovel snow in the winter time, (thankfully last year it did not snow at all). A couple of kids said their parents give them money and they don't have to do a thing for it. I can't shovel anymore due to my peripheral neuropathy. How I got that, Lord only knows. I am not diabetic. Anyway, I find your channel very relaxing to watch except the one where you pulled your shoulder out. I was feeling very bad for you. I do hope all the people that are hoarders that you clean for get all the help they need and that they get better. You are helping them as well by what you are doing for them. .

I'd give anything to have you as my cleaning company. I have one for my mum, who lives in a small 1 bed barn conversion in my garden. It's all brand new and very easy to maintain. But having started off well with the business owner and his wife, where he did the bulk of the work and she chatted, he's gone onto commercial work and left his wife and a couple of other women doing the domestic cleans. They barely touch it really. I pay for 2 hours and am lucky to get my time completed. I can see dust in places they haven't noticed and the floor never shines. They don't do windows and they didn't do the light fittings. Now that's my job. I bought a Swiffer long handled after learning about them from you. I can dust the lights standing on the floor. There are dust bunnies forming under furniture. So disappointed. But I'm rural and so don't have much choice. I love seeing all your kit. I bought myself a new cordless vacuum today. I have a big Shark, but it's heavy and has a lot of cord on it. This one will be for midweek floor maintenance. I am looking forward to trying it tomorrow. The battery is ready and charged.

On area's that are extra cluttered I bring along 2 rolling racks. I got them at Sam's. That way when I'm sorting items, I put them on the racks. After everything sorted if I have move items that have to go to another room just roll it there. Helps with space issue, bending over and carrying things all the time. Fyi, I have a truck. Helps me. Like your channel, Thanks for sharing.

You are spot on about the cost of cleaning products. I just helped my brother outfit his new apartment with all the cleaning supplies plus a vacuum, broom, mop and it was several hundred dollars.

Hi! I loved your kit, we have a lot of similar products here in Brazil. There's a mixture I like a lot to clean and sanitize all surfaces and gives a lot of shine in glasses and mirrors: half bottle of 70% alcohol and half of alcohol vinegar. I add a squeeze of lavender cleaning remover (here in Brazil this remover is a kind of scented kerosene). It sanitizes, gives the shine and keeps everything with a nice and clean scent - I uses it everywhere in my own house, including stove, cabinet doors, and it's perfect to finalize the cleaning after washing. Stay safe!

I'm not looking to start a business at my age and with severe arthritis in my back, but I enjoyed this. It's helpful for my home. I don't need a 'storeful' of cleaners under the sink. I would gladly watch more of these.
