Actually, it was probably so he didn't have to dribble or anything. Idk much about basketball but I know travel is a thing. And although he's tall, he can get the ball stolen from him. The tactic is probably to just jump as far as possible down the court and just set the ball in the hoop before he lands. I don't see any other way of using someone like him. Unless you just have him sit next to the hoop and wait for it to be passed to him. That seems dumb tho. With this he just has more range and versatility. Just have him where is best and he'll jump the rest the way there 👌.
