Know someone from Chicago who used to fly down to South Beach, Miami on Thursday nights and run Cigarette Boats all weekend and then fly back Sunday night. He said they were $25,000-$35,000 weekends! While he can no longer do it today, he sure has LIVED!!! Oh, he also has tried harder, worked harder, worked smarter and has been willing to risk more than most. There is a “cost” for everything. Keep up the quality work.

@@Ducknell american marine limited changed its name to grand banks , mine is a 67 american marine admiralty. Its basically a ketch on a 50 trawler hull. Tops out around 7 to 9 knots. It will run 5 or 6 at 1000 rpm . I believe It was the first built out of 7 . The other 6 had twin diesels

You probably had this question more then once, but how much current is there? Like how many knots? I never see any regular sailboat or motor yacht. Are they not able to enter the harbor due to the strong current?

PressTube Smart boaters read the tide charts and time their entry and exit around them. The idiots you see failing are doing so at exactly the worst times, at full flood or ebb. Either side of slack tide is best, but they have no experience and get the shit beat out of them.
