I watched two videos on how to engage maintenance mode before I saw yours, both said that it would work for all gens, and yours was the only one that worked. I guess my 2005 gen 2 is different 🤷🏼‍♂️. Thanks for helping us all out. I look forward to your future videos.

How has it been working out? Thinking of using this method for my 09 Prius. Most of the videos on Prius coolant are doing a full flush. This was the only top-off video I found, Thank you!

Thanks for commenting! So far, so good. The coolant is keeping the same levels, and everything is working fine. As far as I can tell the instructions to let the fan run twice in maintenance mode from the Car Care Nut video worked for the top-off.

Hey did the triangle of death go away after you added coolant to the reservoir.Also what is maintenance mode?

ur info is wrong, u want to turn the heater on full blast to open the heater core
