I love the armor, but know nothing about it. It looks like its a protectant from slicing???? At the risk of sounding like a “smart-ass”, it looks like colored tatami mats,i hope im wrong, lol

Slicing, thrusting, and to a lesser extent, bludgeoning. It is pretty haha. Here's a video of armor tests of the same company that made my armor: kzbin.info/www/bejne/emqyp5SCZ7xpeKM&ab_channel=SamuraiArmor That's for their older armor. They have a tempering (heat treating) option for it now too which would increase the durability more. Historically it would also get lacquered which would provide a little more protection. I'll talk about that a bit in a video that I'm working on right now.

cool james-san is back.... james-san I have a question... Have you ever thought about practicing Japanese? and What is your favorite Japanese movie?🤔 take care james-san🙂 quick question before i forget... don't you have facebook and instagram take care and be strong💪

I don't know anyone that speaks Japanese, but I would like to learn some later. Favorite movie there are a lot, floats between The Last Samurai and 13 Assassins. I know The Last Samurai is cliche and not historically accurate but I appreciate it as movie entertainment and not a documentary. Katsumoto really steals the spotlight! I don't have Instagram, I do have a Facebook that I forget to post videos on sometimes. It doesn't have anything except links to my videos when I post them. Take care too!
