You have a video about everything!!Why every time I work with such yarns with long fibers, the long fibers end up on the back side? Do you know? Does it happen to you? The back side is beautifully fluffy but the front is less fluffy. And it happens with normal and tunisian crochet and working very loose.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to that. I know in amigurumi it happens because of the tight tension and small stitches, so you should work the item inside-out or brush it afterwards. In my other projects with looser gauge the fluff is distributed uniformly on the front and back. Have you tried "brushing" the one side that is less fluffy? You can use your hands to do that or something a bit grippy, but which won't distort the stitches. On a flat surface, place the item with the fluff downwards, then press and move your hand on the surface, as if you were petting an animal, but with more pressure. Maybe it helps bring up some of the fluff that is caught in the stitches.

@YarnAndy Google is surely listening and reading everything ;) Just after leaving this comment I saw an add from Hobby where they sale a small round brush that turns and it doesn't look too aggressive. I also found info about brushing to pull the long fibers on the outside. I'm crocheting your tunisian sweater pattern and I'm afraid I'll pull all the vertical bars of the simple st that are soooo clean right now! :) I'll try with my hands but I'm not sure how much it will pull the fibers out. Did you ever do a video on how to block mohair? Thanks Andrea

@Dollectable_Dreams oops. Well, they do own this platform... I haven't made any tutorial yet about blocking, since it's such a big topic. I don't block mohair, if I wash the items I lay them flat to dry. But I rarely wash things made of mohair. I've machine washed projects made with Diablo from Hobbii, but that's not mohair, just an imitation. I also lay that flat to dry. For silk mohair, if you use that in a garment, wash by hand gently by immersing in a tub of lukewarm water with wool wash, rinse and then squeeze in a towel, without wringing. Then lay flat to dry. Lace projects usually get stretched out and pinned in place if washed, but don't stretch too much.

Your work is beautiful! I would be very interested in seeing the tips you have for blocking with these fibers. 🫶

Thank you! That's great to know, I will film a video when a project with either yarn is ready for blocking and then put them together.

I would love a tutorial about Tunisian stitch.

Hm, which stitch exactly? There are several hundred Tunisian stitches that I know of. I have a few tutorials for some basic and some more complex stitches on here and will be adding to them over time.
