I got one a number of years ago, I must admit I was a bit sceptical, the handle is very sketchy as you noticed. However, comparing to other small circular knitting machines not including the addi express pro, it is the best on the market. I've not had dropped stitches at all from it and the knitting is quite nice and even. The one I have doesn't have any black needles at all, and after a while the legs on it just kept falling off, and the needles do jam so don't work it too fast. I would like the crank handle to be sturdier, for tension you do need to provide a bit of tension yourself. Just play with the thickness of yarns, but I found it could take reasonably thick yarn, but I can't get it to reliably knit a panel. Given the negative things I mentioned, I would buy another one, but I'm not sure if it's suitable for small children as its quite heavy to hold and it does slip around on the table so they may find it frustrating. Thank you for sharing your unboxing. Cheers!

I've only just seen your message so I'm sorry for late reply. I agree for the money it's anice little machine. The handle is flimsy but go slow is def the way forwrd. Many thanks for taking the time to comment

@@craftycaz hey no problems, I know life happens, I rarely get a reply anyway so I don't expect one. Yes a good little machine is like to get another one but they've gone up in price to much for me, and its the postage to Australia that's a killer of joy🙁 I did get brave and took mine apart and gave it a good clean and put some silicone lubrication around the needles and tuenstyle, but it was fiddly getting it back together and all needles aligned in their own compartment. I hope you have many years of wonderful creating with your little machine, and thank you again for getting back to me. Cheers from Australia!

I have been looking at this machine for some time but just haven't decided to pull the trigger. Thank you for bringing this video to us. I would guess the 2 black needles indicate the first and last stitches of the flat panel.

Hi Of course thank you so much for clearing that mystery, that makes perfect sense. I'm going to do some more testing to see how it responds to different yarns. Let meknow if you pull that trigger

Thank you for thus review. I just ordered this same knitting machine just for smaller projects like baby hat socks and mitts. I have neve tried a knitting machine before so this will be my first one. I won't by a larger one just yet maybe in the near future.

I saw some pics online that suggest the 2 pink clips either side allow you to remove the handle part from the circular part. Hope that helps.
@craftycaz Жыл бұрын
Def helps thank you. I think I'll need to remove the pink rear support section to do that, I'll give it a try later after some more home DIY....sigh

I bought mine from temu. I clicked the switch to panel (p) just to check it after trying it on (t) tube and then back to tube, it started to click and get stuck quite a bit. So so sad it worked well in the beginning but I am sad that I may not have a chance to create more projects. I was able to make a scarf for a toddler and two other little projects using the yarn that it came with.

The 2 black needles are when you do the flat panel

I think I figured out the two black hooks are for the straight knitting. Crank it until it will not crank anymore and reverse.

Hi, I've done flat panels on a different machine if you check through my playlist. The technique is much the same

I’d buy it for that price. I would have to fasten it done somehow.

I'm thinking of velcro sticky pads so I'll see how they work. I agree it needs some kind of stabalizing. Let me know if you buy one and what you think of it

Maybe the instructions are on the box.
@craftycaz Жыл бұрын
There are some vague instructions on the box Jeanne but nothing anyone new to these machines would find useful in my opinion anyway. Plus some very mis-leading photos I think as some of the patterns they show are def not done on that machine. Naughty lol

Have you tried KZbin for some instructions? Type up the name of the machine followed by the word “instructions” and you never know, something might pop up. I wonder if those two side levers are for tension. ❣️🌹

@@frans3474 Thanks Fran the levers are to release the body from the handle I've since found out
