The Stan-Meister, my question is about attaching an income rider to the FIA as you mentioned in your example at the end of the video with the need to turn on income in 7 years. What’s the difference between turning on the income in 7 years (after paying the rider fee for 7 years) versus not paying for the hefty income rider and just annuitizing the contract value in 7 years? Would appreciate an answer. Thank you!

once you annuitize, you’re giving up the contract value that you would otherwise still have if you just had the FIA with an income rider

Which of the 2 options would give you higher contractual guarantee: 1- 55 yr old male wants income to start in 5 years. Deposits 500k into myga today and at the end of 5 yrs switches into SPIA. 2- same person deposits the same 500k today into a DIA for contractual income to start in 5 years.
