That's a wonderful job. Thank you for investing your time in producing this video. It is extremely important for us, melodica lovers. I also really liked the music. I loved it when during the questions the chord gained dissonant notes (a dominant chord). I also liked the use of the keyboard sound, which I usually adopt in my compositions as well. So reed instruments are not idiophones cause the sound doesn’t come from the vibration of the reed itself but from the modified air flow provoked by the reed movement. In the H.S. Classification they are classified correctly but i read somewhere else that reeds are also idiophones. Then there’s the mistery of Aeolsklavier and Piano Chanteur where they are classified as blown idiophones but are thought to be predecessors of Harmonium (which is the bigger size Melodica) and here we got the confirmation that they should be aerophones.

I've got a random melodica question and nowhere to ask it, so I'll ask it here. Do you know if anyone has ever tried to valve a melodicas the way chromatic harmonicas use valves (aka windsavers)? Obviously it isn't necessary on a melodica, but I do like the distanct sound that windsavers give chromatic harmonicas, so I'm wondering if in theory I could add some to ky melodica and alter the sound
