My sincerest condolences to all that lost a loved one. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. It was a very long process of chemo seeing her throwing up withering day by day with no knowing of what's next. She is now a cancer survivor and has recently done her first bone therapy in May of 2023 with the next around the corner. I may not have had cancer but I'm witness to it and I have the utmost respect for all of you who. I won't say everything will be fine because I know we'll never know if it will or won't. Love those who are with us now, remember those who left us and cherish those who are leaving us because all we'll have are memories. Thank you for the educational video. Blessings to all.

But I'm trying. In Sri Lanka be a doctor is very hard and only 5% of students are eligible for the entrance of medical facilities. Exams are very hard and competitive. I'm in first step doing advanced level and have to pass it getting high z core alongside getting credit passes for biology, chemistry and physics. I lost my mom to colon cancer and Covid19 combined a couple of years ago. It was devastating to see her go in front of me. It was the most painful experience I ever went through in my life. I just wanted to die there with her. It affected the electricity in my heart. I still have shortness of breath and tachycardia from it. They are now trying to convince me to go on antidepressants. The whole experience made me feel as if a horse had just kicked me in the chest. I felt a lot of pain when I was in front of her. I still have dreams about her and I know I will see her again soon. Cancer is the most vicious and deadly disease on this planet. It sneaks up on you when you least expect it and evades sometimes medical treatment. I hate it. I don't want to see anyone suffer from it. God bless all the survivors.

I must admit,i only found out in 2021 how people with Cancer actually die. I saw images of women with breast cancer in isolated, poor areas who had not been able to afford or travel for treatment on Reddit & could not believe how these women were still alive. Then someone told me its not so much that the cancer kills, its what it blocks or presses on. Its a very cruel thing for anyone to go through. One person wrote "if we didnt have cancer,we would live far too long and who wants that"?? As though cancer was a saviour. Clearly they had never experienced cancer or watched a friend or family member with it. My partners ex died of pancreatic cancer last year, she was in her early 40s,it was awful. I can't even imagine how my cousin felt when he was with him his last moments. He said to doctors that he wanted to be at his home in his last moments. I visited them every day to give support to my cousin, and it was worse every day. Uncle was sleeping upstairs, and he didn't want anyone to come up except his own sons. My parents are around 70 now. I had a tumor the size of a melon growing in my abdomen. Fist size blisters popped up everywhere on my legs. They had to attach a Nephrostomy tube to my kidney to drain the urine into a Nephrostomy bag that hanged out the side of my body. The tumor had blocked the kidneys from doing what they were supposed to do. The first year was Hell ! I don’t know how I survived. The chemotherapy was as harsh as f…k ! It liquified the melon size tumor into 9 liters of cancer death. After failing chemotherapy treatment, I was treated with immunotherapy and then eventually CAR-T . I wanted to die ! The pain was unbearable. I cry every time when I think about these three years. My doctor said it’s PTSD ! But miracles happen! Here I am …. Better and in good health! In Remission now for over a year.

I bore witness to this disease ten years ago when my grandfather, aged 78, was diagnosed with lymphoma. Stage 3A. Watching him die in front of me and my family was devastating. He fought the good fight, but he passed in 2018. Six years later, I now have the same illness (my whole body began to suddenly erupt in pain and lumps were found on much of my body). As it happens, I inherited his cancer gene. God help me either get through this, or take me away from this wretched Earth. I cannot be more scared right now.

My grandfather died of cancer when I was around 3 years old. I don't remember him much, but I know that he got very thin very quickly during his last months. He had always been pretty slim from what I've seen on photos, but got even slimmer as his cancer progressed. My granny, his wife, is dealing with cancer now. It's sad how many elderly people have this - people over 65 are over 3 times more prone to getting cancer then people around the age of 45. At least it grows slower because of the slower cell division rate. Y'all get yourselves checked up regularly and don't ignore persistent pain - it can save your life!

I remember nurses trying to force feed my mother cause she wouldn't eat in her final days. I had to shut them down. I had to tell them give her medicine and that's it make it easy for her. Between the stage 4 breast cancer spreading, the radiation, the chemotherapy and sepsis that entered her blood stream there was no way she was about to eat. I already knew she was going to leave us. So I wanted her to be pain free as much as possible. In the end she told me thank you and I did the right things for her. It was not easy to have so much authority over her life but I'm glad it was me and she was as comfortable as she was going to get as she transitioned over to eternal life. I truly hate this disease. My grandfather died 2 weeks ago from advanced lung cancer.. At that stage, we just wanted him to be as comfortable as possible, and fortunately, all of the loved ones were by his side when he passed away.. He survived 2 years with cancer, chemotherapy and radiotherapy before he became too weak to undergo treatment.. the cancer metastasized to the brain, and he got into the state of delirium, he was admitted to hospital for a month before his health started going downhill and starting to depend on an oxygen mask, from there, things started escalating quite quickly and passed away within the next 48 hours as stuff became very fast, but the days felt long with distress.. We're now just glad that he's already at peace, reunited with my grandmother and in the arms of Jesus Christ.. God bless them always and let their memories live on..

Cancer is just...Awful. It ruins future plans, hope, and people. It does more harm than good. My dad's former work friend, fishing buddy, and family member figure died from liver cancer last August. He fought cancer for two years and was only 65. I've witnessed several family members die from it throughout the years and it's hard to watch. These people go from healthy to emaciated, pale, and sickly overnight. I would say, cancer is the worst condition just behind Dementia. I have a family member currently in the midst of a brutal cancer fight and my parents and I moved two hours away from our old home to be closer to them. His is one of the most deadliest so his timeline is unknown, it's not pancreatic cancer but it is a GI tract one and it's metastatic. But thankfully, it's treatable and he's done quite well so far, just exhausted all the time. It's just hard to watch. I think what sucks is that cancer is a lot of times, something that wins and many of them are a sentence to your doom.

I feel so much empathy for those with cancer. I truly hope that they can feel a since of ease by those supporting them and around them. I can only imagine how lonely and scary it can get to actually be in that position. However, strength is oddly found in the most terrifying situations. That thought keeps me in high spirits even though the factuality of cancer is disturbing and simply sad. Life really is precious. We should all appreciate what we have because even though things are rough and our pain is valid, there are some people that go through this on a daily basis... living in hospitals and going through the probably mental health struggles that comes along with it. My prayers are with everyone that has had, is experiencing, or has experienced someone with cancer. You all are fighters.

Even if the doctors say that there is nothing we can do, know that this is not true coming from someone who’s seen people who’ve been told by doctors that “they can’t do anything”. This is number one bullshit. There are so many cures to cancer but you need to RESEARCH. For example, doing prolonged fasting multiple times can cure cancer along with other treatment. Even in conventional medicine, doctors say there are only 4 types of chemo but THATS A LIE because I know people who’ve gone to other countries in Europe and done better chemos. This is just one example. I can say the same for surgery and everything. I promise you if you were to do everything in your hands to be cured then you would be cured. Prayer is key as well. Watching this video, my eyes watered and my heart filled with anger. I have lost so many loved ones to this damn disease, including my mom. She fought a tough battle with cancer for 40 years but felt short.. i mean come on man, its 2024 but no one has come up with a cure to cancer yet... jeez

I am shivering writing this comment. My mom was disgnosed triple negative breast cancer a year ago and we immediately started her treatment. She underwent chemo radiation surgery and was doing really went until a week back she developed breathlessness and we found out the cancer has spread to her lungs and heart. She is given 1-2 months to live. How does one go through such a hard thing? What do I do? I have sleepless nights and no appetite. I constantly think about her journey and struggles she went through to raise me and my siblings. How do I tell my younger siblings that their mom is not gonna be around by new year ?? 😢 Its like every part of my body is numb.. No one should go through such a situation with this deadly disease.

Well your lord almighty hasn’t done it yet, but thank goodness for scientists and healthcare providers doing your gods job better.

Never has happened, never will. Science and medicine has cured many where faith (wishful thinking) and prayer( incantations) won't.

I’m a platelet donor. I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer. I was a platelet donor for years before I lost her but it took on a special meaning after. Platelets only last 5 days after donation and only 3% of the population donates. It’s vital. If you’re reading this, think about donating!

(This is gonna be quite a read) I lost my mom a little over 3 years ago to cancer as well she was super tough she first got breast cancer back in 2007 due to a car accident and had glass sharss embedded in her chest which later caused the cancer, she had surgery and chemo and beat it for a time but just 7 years later it had metastasized into her spine because they didnt manage to remove it all and she didnt get a check up till that point and was told she had 2 to 5 years to live (she through the grace of God lived another 6 and a half years) Since then she had begun going to church one she actually liked in the end ans it had given her the will power to do so much,my father was incarcerated the year prior and she took hold of the family stuff because all 4 of her kids were too young i despite having finished school struggled to land and keep a job for a long time so i was helpless to help her but i did what i could for her so during her fight she went to church almost daily every week she worked doing babysitting and yard sales to keep us afloat and even had food stamps and stuff to help with costs, she later suffered a fracture on her spine which would of made her paralyzed from the waist down thankfully she never went through that, and over the years the cancer spread to her lungs, brain, and stomach she was so strong though she was growing thinner and thinner and could barely walk 3 months before her passing but she essentially just got herself a job working at a restaurant on top of her working as an usher for our church all her own choice though and we also took her to disneyland because she loved it and the characters she had a great day there even though we practically wheeled her all around on her walker chair but im glad she went and we had fun, she didnt want to go and prayed constantly but she also told us that she didnt want to be hooked up to life support of any kind. During her last months she constantly threw up a lot and had problems eating and could barely walk to the bathroom but she didnt fully deteriorate till her final week she was hospitalized for the last time (before this she had come and gone multiple times and every time she got out within a few days) she looked mostly fine even during our final call with her because we couldnt go and visit directly due to covid restrictions it was 2020 afterall my sister noted she wasnt fully there in the head and she passed away 3 hours later but the hospital made an ecception and allowed one of us inside to see her and she was trying to sleep but she began making weird movements which i to this day believe she tried to tell my sister to move her to her side so she can go to sleep which she did and thats how she went in her sleep the doctors said her heart just stopped they did try to resuscitate but were told to stop as it was pointless I will forever hate cancer and the fact that some of our genes dont have the cell correction thing to prevent errors from becoming a cancer i am 4x at risk for cancer because both sides of my family had a history of deaths related to cancer i lost 3 of my grandparents to it before i was even a thought of existing For those of you with loved ones fighting this terrible disease i highly suggest finding as many different and useful herbs and other natural as useful as medicine is the side effects seriously messed with my mom i basically had to tell her to stop taking Metformin as it caused more damage than it did to help her during her last months but i didnt know or understand much heck even now i could of told her to take apple cidar vinegar, ginger root and ither things that may have better helped without any of those negative side effects its a lesson learned for our family i know the doctors were not maliciously assaigning medication to her like that they did a lot to help her but looking to natural stuff may help in more prevention though still do research and shower them with love they will appreciate it more than you know and will also leave you with less regrets when they finally pass on
