How does circular agriculture contribute to biodiversity?

In essence it's still monoculture and completely dead soil with no life in it (and you call it beautiful). I don't understand what is circular here. Better if the farmers stop working their land this way and switch to permaculture and food forests for 100% biodiversity, 0 pesticides, less work, more yield and profit.
