How Does Dental Insurance Work?

Hello and thanks for the helpful video! I visited a dental office to be a new patient and a sign at the check-in station states "If you have insurance you will be asked to pay the deductible and your portion", this was not a large chain dental company, but a one building dental office, so what do I need to pay? What is my deductible? What is my "portion"? What exactly do they mean by "Portion", I have a PPO High plan that pays 100% for normal procedures, Thanks!

It’s a lot better in the Philippines! You don’t need an insurance to get a good quality dentures in a very affordable price! Philippine dentists are a lot better than American dentists!!! Filipino dentists work with pride!
