Suppose we are alway from drone or drone are at low level like 20ft in garden or under tress.sudenly we need RTH but if i had set RTH HEIGHT AT 200 feets.. My question is that when my dji air 3 prepear him for goto 200 feets (for set RTH position but drone are at under tress so what will b happened.. They did or not colapsed with tress..? Yes, you can reset your RTH as many times as you want from within the DJI Fly App. Just make sure if you are over water, you change the setting to hover once it comes back to home, otherwise 💦💦💦.

how can I change my RTH? Example, i take off form point A, home point is set. I am walking with drone flying, and stop. Now I want this NEW spot where I am walking to be my new RTH. Otherwise, if I press RTH, the drone will fly back to my original point of take off, which I do not want. Do I have the physically land the drone in the new spot, turn on and off drone here- to get a new RTH point?

Hi Leonard, thanks for the question. ✅ The drone will return from where you took off. ✅ Every time you start up the drone blades from a full stop and take off, your Return To Home/ RTH is reset and the GPS coordinates are locked in to that location regardless of where the remote controller is located.

Question. If I take off, that's my RTH position, but then let's say during the flight, I activate, active tracking and the drone then follows me, say up or across a mountain peak. So no I've moved some distance from where I take off, so how do I now get the drone back to my new position because if I choose RTH I'm no longer there. How do I get it to land in my new position? Can I change the RTH position during the flight? Thanks!

Yes, you can change the RTH position to your current location. The RTH is based on the original GPS lock location once you initiate take off. You can change/ update the RTH locked GPS location in the DJI Fly App to where you moved to at any time.

If you take off and immediately hit return to home while you are say 5ft off the ground, will the drone automatically fly up to the Return to Home Height of 100ft etc.? Or will it simply go back down from 5ft to the ground? Just incase there are lots of trees above me when i am flying at moderate height 5ft or so and decide to return to home.

Great question. 👍 ✅ The Return To Home feature will only work when you are at least 20 feet away from where you took off. ✅ If you are within 50ft of your home point the Mini 3 Pro will not ascend to your designated RTH altitude, it will instead proceed back to the home point.
