It's the Monopoly game we all grew up with as a kid...only this time its in 3D and the salt is even higher!
The game is broken and Ubisoft refuses to fix it. So we are playing "locally" via steam remote play. So when it crashes (And it will) we can load the save back up and not lose all of our progress

Smarty just can't see how valuable stuff is for other people. Gives away 2 incomplete monopolies easily to Amber, which is worth a lot to her and at the same time he's surprised when Chilled doesn't value his money as much, which has little use for Chilled. Plus, he gave away the orange to Kruz for 500, even though it was worth way more than 500 to Chilled.

John denying the railroad deal and then everyone immediately landing on them was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. The fact that the card sending them to the railroad and making them pay double came up shows that god was just fucking with him. I also do feel bad for Chilled that every deal he was trying to make was being immediately scoffed at, even when he was being extra nice to them with what he was offering as a way to get them to overlook their prejudices. It's especially weird since as Chilled said, others were being absolutely savage with their trades, particularly with John. But everyone else was ignoring what they were seeing and instead focusing on the CTC they heard so much about. I doubt this would even be possible at this point, but it'd kind of be fun to see Chilled play Monopoly with people who weren't familiar with that saying and were more playing normally, but that would require playing with people he doesn't really know. It is what is. Plus, it just makes it more satisfying when he manages to win with everything stacked against him.

@@joshuagroom7068 Ehh, Cruz didn't have much else going for her. She wasn't getting any property by landing on it and it was unlikely she'd be able to outright buy a monopoly. Honestly, hitching your wagon to Chilled might not be a good way to win, but it pretty much guarantees you won't be the first out.

Yeah, I think they were being overly defensive against Chilled. Not to give too many spoilers if you didn't see how this panned out on the stream, but I think it would have been in Kruz's best interest during the 60/40 investment negotiation to also get one property, her choice, from anyone that went bankrupt on orange. Even if she had to drop her profit split percentage. That would have given her the chance at gaining more property in the future, potentially blocking Chilled from getting multiple monopolies, and could have potentially used said properties to negotiate for her own monopolies. I think the main reason Chilled is so good at winning Monopoly is that he has the patience, stamina, and strategy to play the game multiple hours, rather than getting impatient, trying for a quick win, and making bad long term deals in the process like the others seem to do a lot.

The man will pay 500 for a second Railroad that barely would make a difference in profit, but suddenly 600 was too much for the final one that'd make a huge increase in revenue when he doesn't need money at that stage in the game for anything other than chump change. Seeing him make that huge payout for it later was so satisfying when just accepting it originally would've probably won him the game

Back when I first started playing monopoly on the board game version with my family. Originally, my older sisters were greedy af and often tried to screw me on deals. Not once have they ever beaten me. I got so bored with the game I stopped playing because there wasn't a single time that I'd lose. Everybody ignores the kill potential of the Brown monopoly. Everyone ignores the fact that you can own the Dark Blue monopoly because of its kill potential, but they don't see it coming how dangerous it is to land on the Brown monopolies as soon as they pass Go thinking its a safe roll. All of the money they'd just gotten from me after landing on their Dark Blue kill shot, is practically given right back to me as soon as they go around the board plus they're giving me their Pass Go! 200$. I don't make it easy on anyone either because I'd often have the Railroads and the Utilities too, because they overlook those spaces as a threat so they offer them up for trades all the time. They got Boardwalk, so they offer me their Railroad or Utility along with any Browns they possibly have for my Park Place. I say "Okay", but then immediately after I'm plopping Hotels down on the Browns. They, however, have to work on building up some cash just to put houses on the Blues. Very easily I'll own up at least one side of the board, If I'm able to I'll also own the Green monopolies, which better prepares me for the Browns to kill them.

how does he always win?... well, by getting overly screwed by all the other players even when he tries to play fair and even help them out. but, after that he decides to take the gloves off (not fully, he still helps), and plays more seriously. if the other players actually took some time and thought things through, instead of playing into the propaganda from salty players, then he would possibly lose to them.

Everyone else when Chilled offers a fair deal that even favors them: This is clearly skewed against me. Everyone else when anyone else offers a heavily one-sided deal that will only screw them over: This is the best deal in the history of Monopoly. At this point, bankrupting everyone is just a formality. Given his win-loss ratio and the poor quality of everyone else's plays, Chilled might as well be called the winner after turn 1. I don't call myself a Monopoly expert or even a business expert, but there comes a point where even I can see when people aren't making the best plays.

Yeah in the last session I can't remember who exactly but she held 2 reds and 2 pinks those being her only properties while chilled had the last of of the pink and red but she wouldn't do a monopoly for a monopoly and wanted chilled other properties like she had any negotiation power when he controlled whether she got a monopoly or not she felt what ever fair trade chilled offered she was getting screwed for two reasons she was giving him two properties while he gave one ignoring the fact that if she went with it they would both get monopolies and two he had the dark blues but that's irrelevant when without chilled she can't even get on the board if this was more competitive chilled would never trade because he was the only one with a monopoly for the longest time and with the other properties he had shut down three other players from getting a monopoly and then there was the guy with a single orange so no threat but if she had traded when chilled first offered she may have won if he landed on the monopoly she would have gotten he may have had to mortgage the other and homes it may be luck reliant but it was literally her only play yet she waited like ten turns before getting a monopoly

Almost everyone else Chilled plays with plays too conservatively; Smarty is *too* liberal in his plays but over time, with enough luck, he'd been able to turn those risks into wins. It really pisses me off how Chilled is making amazing deals compared to how everyone else is taking advantage of John and everyone just shits all over him. Oh, paying $600 for the final railroad is too much? Dude you would have made $2000 by then if you’d taken the initial deal, and you IMMEDIATELY would’ve made $200 the very turn after the second deal. You would not have been hurting, and Chilled would have ended up with nothing but 2/3 oranges.

Personally I prefer him winning as its HIS channel. If I wanted say Tay or Ze to win I would watch THEIR videos. Plus hes not always doing the same thing in every video each video is different even though he has a play style of working the deals in his favor overall. Everyone has been conditioned to ignore Chilled. The amount of times he screws people over with his trading tactics, people just got smart and stopped trading with him all together. He actually starts off really fair in monopoly, but then if he gets ahead even when they’re clearly against him he’ll turn reeeeal fast. Tbh if that really happen then John and the other noobs will be swindled by Chilled and the other more experienced player ,if you actually know those terrible trades what Smarty did years ago,and even now... I remember back in the days when derp crew just starting to play monopoly ,Chilled took advantage of Smarty at first ,and then both Galm and Ze knew Smarty is an easy picking so they keep trying to swindle him left and right . The sad part is Smarty didn't even know if the deal is good for him or not ,sometimes other's deal was more unfair than what Chilled proposed ,but his mindset is still stuck on the first few games where Chilled did swindle him legit. So he never listen to Chilled even if he is coming up with some good deals ,he just lacks judgement skills . I do feel like if there's no "voice of reason " in those games then some people will win easily by simply taking advantage of the incapable players ,then the game just turned into who got the better swindling skills.

The more I see these videos the more I think they don't know what they are doing except Chilled , Cheesy might know some basic but still kinda noobish ,the rest are just terrible lol . I can't believe how Smarty never learn after so many games he played with the derp crew ,still doing shitty trades against his own interest ,and the funny part is he is afraid to do business with Chilled that he just let himself to be swindled by other players . He bought the "second railroad" with 500 $ and refuse to buy the forth one with a reasonable price ,miss out the full opportunity to double his value already . These trades I am seeing make both Galm and Ze look like the most reasonable businessmen ever , "I will buy the second property with over double the value when I had only one of them " and the others be like "No ,it's a terrible deal I will need three times the value" . Honestly the second railroad should max out at 300$ ,any over it is a bad deal straight away ,same goes with the other properties when they don't even get a full monopoly.The worst part is when Chilled was doing the trade and they suddenly all wanted double the price ,when they keep swindling each other with terrible deals. Also I don't know who Amber is before ,but she is in the best position for over half an hour and still only built one house each?And she is calling herself smart as well... She could upgrade her pink with her 1 grand and win the game easily ,could mortgaged her yellow as well to build three hotels already . If any experienced player is in her position would have take serious advantage of that and hurt some players badly by now . Maybe even bankrupting some of them if she is lucky ,make the others merely unwinnable .

The mentality of those who know Chilled is to avoid making deals with him because they think he's gonna win end game which is in itself a safe play to make, but when the one who you don't want to win also has your key to success you should make more considerations to what will get you farther ahead in the game. Tbh they are lucky that Amber is a complete noob in this game ,she was in such a good position with over a grand and a full pink monopoly but decided to not put full hotels on it . She can even mortgaged the yellows to max out the pink already ,there's literally no competition on the board until Chilled got his orange ,now she had wasted her advantage ,could have gotten almost 2 grand if she did so.

As per usual Smarty makes terrible deals in the benifit of others, Chilled gets cucked by half the players meta gaming his fair deals, Aphex doesn't understand how the game works and is always very loud about chilled getting anything, Chilled gives an arm and a leg to get a monopoly, John still thinks chilled screwed him over after missing out on $1,400 from the railroads and making half of the money he traded with Chilled for it back in like 30 minutes.

The others take and offer terrible deals, but nothing of what Chilled offered was a fair deal either. You do give an arm and a leg to get a monopoly. It's the only way to win the game. People taking cash for properties will lose in the end. John was screwed by the fact he values the 4 railroads as more valuable than a chance at a monopoly. He never made his money back, because the value of that orange far exceeded any cash he earned from the railroads. There's a big difference between trading current value, and taking a winning strategy that assesses value in the long term. Only reason Chilled wins so much is that he doesn't play with anyone else the acknowledges this OBVIOUS mechanic of the game.

@@apieceofschmitt monopoly requires a good balance of both knowledge of the game and luck, like Aphex said in the video he previously tried the railroad start and it didn't pan out for him by comparison John has won with the railroads being his beginning "monopoly" which he used to fund other actual monopoly later down the line. Smarty made the dumbest deal of trading $500 for a railroad and all his other deals besides the ones with Chilled followed a similar lack of wrinkles in his brain, so logically the last railroad should be traded for more than $500 becasue that's what he paid for the first time around (that's just how the market works) but instead he felt it was unfair for chilled to get more even after seeing it get land on so much after chilled initially offered the trade, once John got the orange he finally had something Chilled wanted but stupidly traded to Kruz for chump change if you really think about it. Sure Chilleds prices where high but they where decent deals that if it was "fair" he would just pay market value for it right? That's not monopoly works, the oranges wasnt been landed on much so they should cost much until someone is close to a monopoly but he still had to pay 2 other people alot just to get all 3 peices but Keuz had his first & last orange and I forgot who had the 2nd but he paid alot for them and when he tried making deals with other people they refuses or tried to actively screw him with deals simply becasue of his former reputation as a swindler when he really just doesn't so it anymore becasue he loves playing monopoly and they won't play with him again if he does.

While Chilled was still trying to get the last Orange. Your thought process is almost as bad as his becasue your thinking about value of a monopoly and not seeing the game as a while like chilled. Anthony takes huge risks almost every monopoly game because he banks on 1 monopoly and tries the best he can my taking into account what's getting landed on the most, who has what property, the player he's dealing with playstyles, and the dice rolls themselves, if he where trading a monopoly for a monopoly he would have used the fact that orange barely got landed on as a way to coerced someone to make the trade, it sucks that he can't get many people to play that are on his level of Bussiness sense and logic but that's not his fault, he plays with who he can and then we get people like Aphex, Smarty, the girls who like former a gender alliance, Larry and Bruce who just make shitty deals

You guys need to enforce a rule to not talk when people are trading. There is waaaaaay too much conversation going on in the background to sway people's trading tactics. It honestly isn't how the game is supposed to be played, and it makes the trading aspect of the game stall out the games far longer than they should go. Just my personal opinion though.

It eventually gets to a point where people start feeling sorry for him or people can sense that he's a natural sucker because he doesn't know or understand the true value of discernment. To your point, Chilled clearly mentions how his past deeds and actions are coming back to haunt him but that also shines a light onto how everyone else operates. Chilled knows when to shift gears but people refuse to see their own blind spots when you point it out to them for the sake of their own self preservation. That responsibility falls not on Chilled, but to everyone else.

Chilled has a reputation problem. Even though there are at least two other extremely strong players on the board, everyone is so suspicious of every move Chilled makes that he can't gain any ground. This is a long-term problem that needs a long-term solution. I think he needs to play a game or three with these same people, but he never so much as touches the trade button, or initiates a trade himself. He'll probably lose a few games, but that's fine. They need to understand that Chilled isn't the only shark in the water, and it'll be more fun for everyone once they learn that not every deal he makes is a poison pill.
