@01Farris -- I'm currently researching and interested in studying for the LSAT. What method are you using to study? Are you breaking up the content into several months?

Thank you! I'm 34 I'm preparing to take the LSAT. I have my sights set on UNT Dallas. It's good to see women facing the same challenges as myself. It is inspirational to see others share my plight. Makes me that much more determined to meet my goals. Thanks ladies.

Aww I’m so happy for you & this journey you are currently embarking!! I’m 29 going back to school which I know it’s that old lol 😅 but, compared to my friends who went to school right out of high school, I have felt behind at times. I wish you the best!! ❤

Hello, Thank you for your comments. I am 66 years of age and excited about law school. My dad is close to 90 and so southern Ca where I will be attending law school. What things did you look at which was important to you at your law school? I applauded you and will pray for you in your journey. Ms. Pat

My biggest thing was I wanted to go to school in the state where I live and plan to practice plus I needed to be near my parents so that narrowed it down to 3 possible law schools within driving distance for me. After that, I chose the one where most of the judges and attorneys in my particular area had attended. It has helped so much with networking and future opportunities in my area.

I just back to college at the age of 64. It seems to be a experience for myself. Some of the students were high school students and heard some nasty comments, just brushed it off. Had to understand the requirements of the Professor 's MLA and reading materials.

in law school... everyone is on the sink-or-swim plan. Honestly, there's no time for people to make nasty comments. You will be just fine once you get there.

What are your plans after school, do you have any specific job you’d like?
@vanessamaxlaw9 ай бұрын
Right now I'm strongly considering working as a prosecutor for a few years to get some trial experience. After that, I suspect I will "hang my own shingle" and start my own practice: my long-term goal is to shift to a focus on mediation so that I can work from anywhere (most mediation is done via zoom these days).
@Rasheedamcclintock777 ай бұрын
Lol...I read mediation as meditation! I'm like ...wait..meditation lawyer!😢😅😊

Also, I share about my LSAT in a few of the recent videos. I only studied for about 2-3 weeks before taking the LSAT. Not the optimal thing to do but it was a timing issue for me. Thankfully I scored high enough to be admitted into my first choice school.
