To: @annemariemcnamara8756 - It 'fits' in a way. Tommy was once the victim of a vicious assault by Peter and William. Peter is Jambo's son and William is Jambo's brother. Jambo and Peter apparently did not get along so Peter was moved. He appears to find Tommy more to his liking.

Oh that is beautiful. Jomar too is very kind to him. I've just got back from Twycross, Tommy has more injuries than when I last saw him including head ones and bite marks on his shoulder. It's got to be one of the girls as all his interactions with the boys are friendly.

😢 I noticed here that even as Jambo kept trying to initiate play with him, his face was still indicating stress or fear until the end, and he kept looking over his shoulder as if he expected someone else to barge in and interrupt violently. And I noticed the wound on his hand, too. But I was encouraged to see them both doing the breathy pant laughter at the end. That's so kind of JAmbo, he is indeed a good leader, even if he has to showboat now and then

@A.L.Gardner sometimes when I watch The Californians at csnw I wish they would move little Gordo over to the other side of the house so that Burrito would have another dude to hang with and maybe he would fit in better over there. He seems interested in those older ladies 😄. JB says nothing is off the table, but right now, they're working on getting Willie B better acclimated

@LindaC616 A recent video I filmed was a similar scene and the female chimpanzee having a fit while Jambo interacts with Tommy. So it's very likely Jambo is keeping an eye on the females. We suspect that the females are responsible for Tommy's latest injuries as well.

Wild animals should NEVER be locked be locked up in a cage in a zoo...please let them live their lives naturally in a jungle! I will never go to a zoo again!
