It doesn't surprise me that some in the West put a physical relationship as a priority before dating. Your interviewees took a practical and sensible line - yes I agree physical compatibility is important including libido, however a relationship is more than casual sex + instant satiation of desire; it's also about being able to live together and to respect each other... beliefs, goals, way of life... When times are tough you have to be able to pull through as a family. By the way your interviewees are all cute. 😉

When I might be a bit frisky and my girlfriend isn't and says "NO" I'm perfectly fine with that, no questions asked, however, if we're out shopping and she sees something and comments on it and I walk off, she wants to know why I won't buy it for her my answer of "because I don't want to", isn't enough and I'm bombarded with 100 questions why not? Casual せx without a relationship is a different story... I've had せx with girls whom I never saw again.
