The bit about looking at your kid to realize what's truly important & that taking pressure off is so relatable. Of course, I'm not competing for world titles, but it applies just the same e.g. in work situations. I used to get so hung up on on working long hours, chasing a career, hustling ... and when our first son was born, it was like ... ah wait a minute, that's so silly to get worked up about. It's a joy seeing John grow into fatherhood and getting to have these gratifying experiences with his kid!

can you guys please get a grip on your audio levels? the episode with mateus herdy was completely unlistenable - i could barely hear anything. just compare to any other podcast out there, the difference is vast. a simple normalization to 0db in Audacity will take care of the problem for you! thx and congrats JJF.
