Thanks for the video. It really made it easier to wrap my head around GOC. A question I couldn't resist asking, is that; I have read that -cn, -oh & -nh2 can't show SIR as they are not quite bulky. But in the ortho effect of hydroxy benzoic acid, as mentioned in the video, the -oh group does cause SIR. Does the same happen for -nh2 Also I was wondering whether SIR Is possible in the derivatives of aniline? I would really appreciate a reply 🙏

yes, but the element directly attached to benzene (not the side chain one) must be sp2 hybridized :)
