Thanks Dan, Your words and presentation on the problems of CFS are gold. I wish I paid more attention and gave more time for recovery... at least I know how effective the strategies are, because they got me out of a hole!

*Tinnitus is my biggest trigger. Severe 24/7 permanent trigger for the rest of my life as there is no cure for tinnitus. *CBT and sound masking treatments or therapies have failed to help with my stress response for tinnitus. I've tried EVERYTHING, and nothing works. I've worked on how I perceive it, and I've accepted it now after 6 years onset, because I have to accept it, there's no cure so I have to accept this is for life now, so I've accepted it and the way I think about it has improved, but the side affects continue to spiral and increases, which takes me back to square one. Sleep deprivation, exhaustion from over stimulation and 24/7 distracting myself so I don't focus on the noise, I'm talking absolute mental EXHAUSTION, chronic fatigue, isolation issues it's now caused me as I can't handle normal things now it's too much stimulation, so I don't leave the house. It's a feedback loop that can't end because....there's no cure for tinnitus, it's a 24/7 trigger, and it's for the rest of my life and all treatments I've tried over 6 years have failed.

Sounds like you are doing many good things, even though they haven't helped. Totally get how you feel - it's a tough slog sometimes. All we can do is our best to make the most of everyday, despite the challenes we face. See if you can at least create a small amount of QUALITY time with your son each day - often quality matters more than quantity.

@@CFSUnravelled1 Thanks for reply my Comment. For the moment I'm having some test at the hospitals, MR, spinal tap. Because I had got, worse. But I know after lots of emotional work, that my mind and emotions, traumas is probably 50% the course of my illness. But if the test dont show other illness I consider to try your program. I really want to get well, I dont to want live this, the next 30 years.

Thanks dan for great videos..understand completely , what your saying has verified my findings...I have had fibromyalgia since 2008..I have improved greatly , but plateaued about five years ago, and can’t seem to get better from here on..I have had a lot of physical and psychological stress since a child..I’m also an empath...my list of treatments is extortionate!!?..all have helped in some small way... Emotional stress triggers are the ones for me..muscle tightness constantly..I have done so much emotional release work..but still get triggered.. I feel it’s stored anger....anger seems to be the hardest emotion to clear.. Meditation helps calm the a.n.s.but it’s not the solution..I’m still looking for the solution. What makes your book any different to anything else I have read or done..??!🌈

Well I'm not sure if it's different. CFS Unravelled is about bringing all the explanations you have heard together into one comprehensive theory for the dynamics of the illness. This should help you build a more persistent approach with a multi-lateral recovery approach that goes beyond symptom treatments! You can check out more details about the book here: cfsunravelled.com/cfs%20unravelled

Can you give more examples of stress triggers? I'm not sure I'm getting what would be a trigger. Thanks.
@CFSUnravelled15 жыл бұрын
Consider WHAT gives you flare-ups! Those are stress triggers! So that might be things like exercise, or foods that cause blood sugar variations or even catching a mild cold. Other things can be loud noise or bright lights and even psychological stress.

@CFSUnravelled15 жыл бұрын
Glad it helped you find hope. A good start is to watch all the 3 videos in this series. Then I would encourage you watch some recovery interviews and see if you can find common threads in their stories. If what you hear resonates, the next step might be to read CFS Unravelled.

@CFSUnravelled15 жыл бұрын
Well, if you look around you can find lots (too much) information on that sort of thing. The problem is that all these 'remedies' and 'cures' don't actually work, the symptoms just come back. The key to a deeper and lasting recovery is to treat the root cause, not just the secondary dysfunctions and symptoms. That's the aim of this series, to help connect you to that cause as a starting point.

Hi I suffer fevers do you have any idea how to get rid of them 😪 x
@CFSUnravelled14 жыл бұрын
First it's important to be checked by your doctor if you are experiencing an infection. If that is not the case and it's a result of CFS/Fibro/POTS, then it's the same approach as all symptoms - recover from the syndrome as a whole. Symptom treatment usually has little lasting success.
