Christina Rasmussen interviewed Tom Campbell for her Dear Life podcast and asked Tom in this excerpt from her interview: “How does reincarnation and the afterlife actually work?”
Although Tom has spoken on this subject many times before, in this excerpt he gives a particularly good summary of the how and why of the afterlife process and speaks directly to those who are concerned with whether they will forever be with their loved ones.
Your avatar is not immortal, except in the sense that the information that describes everything your avatar thought, felt and experienced is recorded and made available to all. You, as a subset of consciousness (an IUOC), are immortal -- there is no end , only endless opportunities to evolve -- to become whatever you can be.
Watch the video, discover the possibilities.
IUOC- Individuated Unit of Consciousness

-The question presented to Tom is what might help heal traumatic events in addition to understanding the situation intellectually, and in conjunction with professional help, and how compassion might come into the healing process to assist the healing.*

It's become increasingly obvious to me that Tom Campbell and Bob Monroe chose two very different paths, and Bob was trying to counter balance what Tom has become--the "guru" figure who tells people what is true and what isn't. Bob focused on giving people the tools to go find out for themselves because he saw how much limitation occurred from belief systems and dogma, and the ever present "authority urge" (see Milgram experiment among others) in humans to be led by another. There is nothing wrong with lightly listening to unusually wise/mature voices and what they have to say, as long as they are turning you back to your own inner guidance and you yourself are most focused on the latter. But when they sit themselves in the center, and allow themselves to become a guru figure, and actively facilitate that role over and over and over again, then it can and often does become limiting--limiting for them and for others. There are reasons why folks like Yeshua left the public scene, or why Monroe's "He/She" is not public and known about. What this world needs most are direct examples of Love, and less so preachers, gurus, lecturers, etc. Anyways, re: the topic of discussion, going by the guidance messages that I've received and the experiences that I've had so far, I lean to thinking that an IUOC exists however long it wants to in most cases. I've found that direct, literal reincarnation of a particular self is actually somewhat rare and not the norm. Most individuals either stay in the nonphysical for what we would perceive as really long periods of time, or they go to other systems whether with a corresponding physical level or not. Course they can directly reincarnate here if they want, but the expanded, original self that they are connected to and came from, let's them and other parts of itself know, "hey, I can create another self with some of you in it to work on these lessons, karma, etc Hence, you don't *have* to necessarily go back in if you don't want to", and that seems to be the common process that happens most often. There is a subset of IUOC's that this does not apply to, and what I've found is similar to what Monroe talked about in the addicted, repeater types. These do cycle in and out constantly and often, in a direct, literal sense. These are very, very immature consciousnesses that seem to have a hard time learning/choosing love, but they are addicted to the physical earth level. They tend to try to get into positions of extreme wealth and material power, and time after time, they tend to cause a lot of problems for the collective. Edgar Cayce's guidance called these the "sons of Belial", and outlined how often they caused societal, and even one geological, upheaval in various different cycles, and multiple times in Atlantis over a 200, 000 period. But don't take my word or Tom Cambells. In the spirit of Bob Monroe, go find out for yourself.

What IUOC stands for? Thanks for sharing your perspective
@justinw1765
@justinw1765 2 жыл бұрын
@@Adam2731 It's one of Tom's terms that I only use when speaking to this crowd. It stands for "individual unit of consciousness". A much older, equivalent term for it would be one's "soul". The part of us which incarnates. The IUOC/soul, as Monroe, Moen, and I have found, is created by and from a larger, older self. Monroe called it his "I-There", Bruce Moen called it the "the Disk" (computer terminology), and I tend to call it our Total or Expanded self. There are old terms for it as well, such as "Higher self" or "Monadic self". What neither Monroe nor Moen talked about, to my knowledge though, but what I've found from experience and guidance is that one's Expanded self used to be one with another Expanded self (there was no difference/distinction between them at this point) in an even larger and more original self, but this self split into two (as to why, to somewhat mirror/mimic the physical level and to experience deeper, more intense companionship here). One half become more polarized (initially to the Yin) and one became more polarized to the Yang. This relates to the concepts of "twin flames" and "twin souls". The flames part would be our Expanded self level, and the twin soul part would be our IUOC/soul level. Since a Expanded self can have multiple IUOC's/Souls going on in the same space/time cycle, not only can you meet other selves from your Expanded self in the physical, but you can also meet multiple individuals from your twin flame's Expanded self i.e. you can have multiple "twin soul" connections. I don't know how common this is in practice, just know that it has happened to me and my twin soul, where we have both met other souls from our Expanded self as well as other twin soul connections. The latter has been rather testing in nature, at least for this self.

@@justinw1765 Boy can I relate. Nearing a decade long path with it. It’s the most challenging thing I’ve faced. I don’t like to label it anything, I’m familiar with the storyline. I try to understand it logically and it’s impossible. There have been others that in some ways have mimicked aspects but none equal the whole of this particular connection, and the others are easily and quickly forgotten. Beyond strange. I wonder if we collectively took this on to see what would happen. I do know my heart was opened and I felt it was catalyst to my awakening. Could be that’s all it was ever meant to do for those of us with the experience.

Most of the people I’ve encountered with the TF experience have had the runner/chaser dynamic and never found a way to come together. The energetic thing stumps me. The idea of The afterlife being just recycling holding place and getting us ready to do the next life and the next life and the next life..is just the most depressing endlessly boring thing imaginable. I can’t understand how people are exciting with basically nothing! Basically there is no life after death in another dimension since you quickly get back into earth life all over again. Of course no memories, and then good luck off you go. This is just so sad and I hope I don’t get to do this circle thing but actually enjoy afterlife

It has nothing to do with effort. Just turn away, look between the thoughts, rather than at the thoughts. My concerns, too, rest with idea that the Life Review is being used as a stick to beat the newcomer into acquiescence i.e. docility. The majority of the NDE-ers all reported a spontaneous push into the Life Review, ready or not. The Life Review experience is memorable, full of the most acute shame. According to Dr. Campbell, the shaming helps to induce the unwilling newly "dead" to enter into a new contract and go back into a new avatar el pronto for new experiences and new opportunities for growth missed the last time around. I am uncomfortable with the reward-punishment-docility theme throughout. Since this "docility" is emphasized, what is the difference between mankind's old religions featuring a big, scary, bearded god, and the overseers? If I am an eternal spiritual being, why am I still being prompted so that I remain someone else's (compliant) takeout meal (without my knowledge or consent)? Moo! ;)

Kim Jay , no one and i repeat no-one, is beating the Newcomer into acquiescence or docility, no one can shame you unless you allow yourself to be shamed, no-one is out to shame you ! - how about turning that around ? - each incarnation partition (soul, if you like ) does the very best they can , there is no-one judging you, except yourself - there is NO punishment- docility theme - that's a small view very narrow story running. Religions are a construct, thousands of years old constructs that have served the purpose, of continuing a societal story to meet the needs of the many - totally noble , and necessary for some, one day you will learn what actually happened and perhaps laugh at how seriously we took others Pictures of Reality as our own ? you are not being asked to be someone else's compliant takeout meal - unless except of course if you are being hunted in the Veld by a Lioness?

Its amazing to me that he trained with Monroe, had so many experiences, and still thinks all of this is just "data/computer" existence. I dont have the experience he does, but if you're reading this, please know there IS a creatore, God, and you have a purpose beyond what many machine can make. You are loved, and meant to love, and we are all connected with our loved ones again, the one true version of them, not a "data recreation" of them. Robert Monroe, Michael Newton, Dolores Umbrige, they all discoverd this and wrote about this. And so many more. Their stories all fit together and even aligns to a large degree with Tom. He just has a more science focused mind and seems to elimate the soul aspect and anything spiritual. But if you havnt, check our Monreos books, and "life between life" and "journey of souls" they link well with Tom but carry heavily the spiritual aspect. Of course the Bible is always great as well.. And rememeber always what Robert Monreo himself said "dont take my word for it, experience it yourself."

I remember just before I was born. I said, I don't want to go, I don't recognise them, they are not my family. They said you must go, then whoosh, down a light tunnel, then plop, out on the bed. My take on this is my body has two conscious elements. The base or animal function and me or what some define as soul, which is the incorrect definition, I am a seperate entity, not soul. I'm the driver of the taxi cab, the animal base me, or taxi passenger trys to break through occasionally and tell me where I'm going, but I suppress it. If I left the body prior to death my body would be a base function. When I die the me will go back to source, down load my data and then come back again. I've had past life regression hypnosis and recognise many shadows from the past. I believe these are earth bound not soul and come through our genetic memory, not energetic memory. I like to fish, but found in a past life my earth family mainly ate fish, the fish went and we starved to death, hence my driver to fish now. Once i found this out I have very little inclination to go fishing as I've worked that through. My elbow hurt, in a past life my arm was cut off. Now after recognising this is a memory shadow it no longer hurts. From this I also recognise race memory or hive memory. It's all very complex and needs some really good scientific investigation. Oh, beleive it or not and it will be a not, I can see the Matrix and no, it's not green.

Basically says same thing except when you die you go back to a place like our real home I guess you could say where all the other souls you have a close connection to are there. It’s like a school. For instance you get back there and it’s like a celebration so to speak. The souls I’ve had multiple lives with in 3D would be like “hey selfimage that was a crazy life” and we’d all talk about what we had experience and what we need to go work on next. And you can go to the Akashic records and study your prior life. You can make plans with other souls for your next life and what roles they’d play. So say I see my ex husband there after I die and I say jokingly “wow you pos!!! Did you have to be such a d***!!!!” Lol then we’d laugh about it all because i now have my memory back about his real self as a soul and the roles we played. The book also says we are in soul groups and sort of stick together experiencing different lives. I hope that makes sense. My point is, that sounds exciting and fun. Like you return to the familiar and to your soul group of friends, creating lives together. This interview just made it sound depressing like we have no personality or individuality and we get back to that place and know nobody, like we are all alone. Like it would be really awesome to get back there and say I meet you, cuz you took the time to try to help me by responding. I’m currently reading Tom Campbell’s MY BIG TOE right now. I’m only like 200 pages in. So hopefully I’ll see it differently by the time I’m finished reading. I do appreciate you responding, that’s very kind. And I hope I painted the picture well of how I’m seeing it or how I hope it is. But I’m a truth seeker and I know I need to accept truth no matter if I like it or not lol I’m Prbly just missing info and/or looking at it incorrectly. Thanks again 😊

It is funny however that we created such systems. We are recreating entire worlds in virtual reality. We did this through our consciousness. If consciousness is able to create that, the idea must come from somewhere. It's like we've reinvented the reality we can't see in this dimension in to physical existence.

I've bounced between many different kinds of beliefs. Started as Christian at young age, Atheist, New Age (we are Gods), Muslim, Spiritual, Hinduism, it all just didn't feel right. As a kid i always had this inner knowing of perfect understanding how life truly works, but i couldn't bring it in to words. It felt like the knowing was stuck in my chest area. Later i understood this as reincarnation, but as my ego started to develop i had let it go. Since then i had a very turbulent life with a lot of meaningful moments, always seeking for answers. As a truck driver, i've spend hundreds if not thousands of hours on reading, listening to podcasts, watching videos. It's my luck that nowadays (European) trucks are able to drive autonomous. Anyway, the theory explained in this video, out of all the thousands of videos i've watched, feels most logic and legit to me. Consciousness is evolving, and loving. The pain i inflicted upon others has come back to me and almost killed me. But at the same time blessed me both financially and in wisdom. We should live a constructive life on all terms in order to grow, in stead of destructive. One big question that remains for me... Does consciousness just infinitely wants to experience, learn and grow? Or will it one day decide it has learned enough and move in to another stage? What would that stage be? Just enjoy? Enjoy in a perfect dimension without suffering and negativity? What do we, as a consciousness, ultimately want to achieve other than just experiencing? I always get bored after i've played the same game for a long time, especially when reached certain goals in that game. Usually games then change, they always improve. I guess we will just experience again, but in an improved reality.

I’ve recently done research into what people call the “reincarnation trap” or “recycled souls.” Basically, the whole process of reincarnation is based upon a cycle of ‘learning’ and ‘evolving’ through experience to reach enlightenment. From what I’ve gathered and understood, it appears that souls in this dimension don’t necessary become ‘enlightened’ when leaving the body at the moment we call ‘death.’ That would depend on their state of consciousness at the time. We live in a multi-dimensional Matrix prison reality, in other words, there’s many non-physical levels (astral realms) of the Matrix beyond this dimension where souls gravitate to with countless ‘heavenly’ realities that souls believe they’re in some sort of religious ‘heaven’, however, it’s just another level of this Matrix trap to imprison Consciousness. What lies beyond the Matrix is realms of Infinite Possibility (Space less, Timeless, Formless and Stillness). I keep hearing that the tunnel light of what most NDE’s see is a false trap to lure souls into a dimension of dark negative entities (archons, reptilians, demiurge) masquerading as ‘higher’ beings in forms of spirit guides, council of elders, advisors, teachers, even dead relatives! I know, sounds crazy, right? Hear me out..ask yourself why is the Spirit world hierarchical in structure? Why are spirit guides encouraging souls to reincarnate back to Earth? Why are these external entities such as the Council of Elders claim ‘they know best?’ Shouldn’t we be following our Higher and Infinite Selves? Why don’t we consciously remember our previous past lives? Could our memories by wiped out on purpose? If our true nature and core essence is always connected to the Source, then why do we need to go through these cycles of incarnating and evolving? Interestingly, for example The Tibetans in the Tibetan Book of the Dead, that is read to dying Tibetans...speak of avoiding the false light and the distractions. Perhaps, we need to awaken from our collective amnesia trance and remember who we really are by learning through experiences? To strip away all these layers of fear, doubt and disbelief, ignorance, perception, to free our minds that have been programmed to cover our true Infinite Awareness? To strip away everything we are not like belief systems and everything imposed on our minds since birth? What if recurring bad experiences can also imprison human perception deeper into density and programmed illusion? Why do we have to suffer to be ‘saved’? Indeed, If this Matrix dimension is a prison along with other levels that cycle back here again in a loop of experience, then from that perspective, to me, it would make perfect sense that these negative dark forces have created a system of recycling souls back here again so they can absorb our low vibrational energy of fear, guilt, resentment, hatred in the form of suffering, war, adversity etc... But the issue is most people especially in the New Age and Religious communities don't acknowledge it's a prison, trap or there's deception and manipulation taking place. Endless repeating experiences or incarnations of the same basic perception programming is not going to set souls free, but can reinforce and further empower the very illusions and deceptions that hold humanity in perceptual servitude.

We are all connected because our actions and feelings affect others. So how does he know with such certainty that is not like that in the after life but in a different fo maybe? Also since we have free will where to incarnate, how can he not understand that we might as well keep our individualities from past life for as long as we need and might connect with other individualities as well after life? I mean a husband could wait for his wife in the after life to enjoy love there or reincarnate together? How can he know for sure that this could not happen for example. After all it's all about being taught love and understanding. Right? So what is more rational than re-experiencing life with loved ones and wait for each other? There are many people who remember their past lives without or with hypnosis. His theory is cynical with gaps. If the system already knows what it wants from you (life review) then what's the point of your existence in the first place? For example, If I already know how to make a cake why would I send someone to find a recipe? Moreover why would you forget everything at every new cycle if the goal was to learn something? That's like forcing someone to study and then wiping their mind before the exam. Even worse, if you pass the exam you'll forget everything as soon as you leave the room. Doesn't sound like he thought this through very clearly and the life review clearly makes no sense.

He has a very interesting take but it is very contradictiory in places to others such as in Journey of Souls. The idea the afterlife is boring makes no sense as that would make this plane the focal point of existence which feels ridiculous. also great Yogis do not report the "system" is incomplete butI do like the "infinite possibilities" and "probabilities part". Others have reported we exist in soul groups and that as the unit conscuiousness evolves it merges with larger groups of consciousness. Thus Abraham from Abraham hHcks calls itself a "collection of conscciousnesses". I think there is a lot going on that is more than what he is sharing.

I've discovered over time that our DNA has memory. This could easily be confused with reincarnation. You can experience the memory of relatives too. I had a GGGrandfather that lived in France. For a long time I thought I was remembering one of my other lives. Turned out it was him. Unless I was actually him??? Doubt it. My mother lived and worked in Hollywood in the late 1930s. By the time I arrived in Hollywood in 1977 I started to remember all the streets. It was very emotional and I felt so at home. I was remembering when my mom lived there!!! DNA memory! I wasn't born until 1950s. By then she was in Anaheim. I never knew my mom lived in Hollywood until way later.

There is another explanation, I think DNA acts kind of like a receiver or an anthena for our consciousness, it would stand to reason that if you have strands of dna from your ancestors that you wouls be able to possibly access memories of those that came before by accessing the relevant indormation space.

Is Tom Campbell a non-player character? I ask this, because he seems to have difficulty with questioning his conclusions. He says the system in benevolent, and that it wants to lose entropy so it can live according to love, yet the system and its IUOCs have no problem with using all of us partitions, Avatars, Uncle Fred's, as laboratory rats that help it evolve. When we are here in this World, we partitions tend to value our lives, and out of love, sometimes we value the lives of others. If we understand how wonderful existence can be, we will value our lives to a large extent. If we live according to love, we view the other people we know as precious, and we truly care about their "eternal" welfare. Yet Tom speaks of IUOC units as heartless, indifferent and callous beings, that have no problem with negating all us uncle Fred's when it is time to extract data from us. Another possibility: IUOC units, Oversouls, truly do understand about love, and love us dearly and appreciate the sacrifices we make while here in this World and the other places we incarnate into. The consciousness/beingness of a Partition doesn't disappear when it rejoins its Oversoul. Its body-based identity will go away, but its essence won't. Therefore, if a person wants to make contact with someone such as Uncle Fred, one can make contact with a being that is now a part of an Oversoul. Oversouls and parts of an Oversoul are one, just as we are all one and many at the same time. I have been in contact with my Oversoul many times, and it does not view me as some entity it will destroy someday after it extracts data from my beingness.
@alberthaust4542
@alberthaust4542 3 жыл бұрын
@@steak8278 Going by what I have figured out through experiences and other ways, we are extensions of our Oversoul. One time I experienced what it is like to be an Oversoul, and I was aware of numerous incarnations at once. Say an Oversoul has 3 incarnations going on. They all return to Oversoul at the same moment. Each has developed their own will power, and have gone through many experiences in this world, both pleasant and unpleasant. Does their experience as a unique being, will center, have to be snuffed out so that only their Oversoul's uniqueness continues to exist? I don't believe so. Reality exists so we can be one and many at the same time. Regarding Oversoul's perspective versus my perspective, unconditional love is unconditional love regardless of who experiences it. Reaching the point where you truly revere, respect, love, value and appreciate the existence of other conscious will centers, can be a common experience regardless of where a partition of consciousness abides. The portions of Beingness that take part in experiencing Avatars, exist before the projection takes place. I used to be into guru-based teachings in the 1980s. I pretty much believed according to what they said. I thought, "how could I doubt the words of an enlightened person?" Eventually I learned that these gurus weren't as wise and infallible as they claim. I learned that I need to be willing to question what everybody says. There are a lot of people who have words that I value, but I make a point of remembering that nobody, including myself, gets it right all the time. I am not an expert when it comes to what Tom Campbell says. A lot of what he says seems correct to me, but there are a few things I don't agree with.
@justinw1765
@justinw1765 3 жыл бұрын
Correct. What Source did in creating our "Oversouls/Spirits/Disks/Monads/Higher selves/Expanded selves" or whatever one wants to call it, is a macrocosm process of what our "Oversouls etc" did in creating us, the partitions/Souls/IUOC's or what not. And like you said, it's similar to how we are both One/interconnected and individual/unique/self aware at the same time. And yeah, while a Soul/partition/IUOC eventually loses it's body based perceptions and beliefs, the (now purified) essence remains, even if it consciously connects to it's Expanded/original self level, or even to the Source and full Oneness level. I've received guidance messages about the latter. One time I had a dream where I was standing in a circle with other selves*, all meditating and attuning, while connecting to each other. We were boosting each other's awareness in this connection, and I became aware that I should step into the middle of the circle, and that I was going to open up to Source Consciousness. I did so, and went deep, deep within myself, opened fully up, and what I experienced was hard to describe, but what I can say for sure is that I was still essentially me and had self awareness, but a much more expanded, clear, purified version of me. And those other selves still had their own self awareness and distinct/unique character/essence. *I've come to perceive these other selves that I observed/felt/experienced were the various graduate IUOC's that come from the same Expanded/original self that made me and them. Kind of the fastest vibratory, most aware members of our collective consciousness. It's interesting that so many hang on Tom's every word as if it the gospel truth. Seems limiting to me. What if Tom is off on some things? Then people are making his off perceptions as part of their belief systems. When one is connected to a physical human body in this dimension, it is very hard to become completely clear in one's perceptions. This level/collective energy by its very nature, has a distorting effect. This can only be transcended so much. Even in Yeshua, we see a difference in him pre and post resurrection. In the latter, he was still in the world, but no longer of it at all. Btw, the energetic resurrection process which converted his body matter into a Light form that can still interact in a material like way with this level, is what created the Shroud of Turin image. This is one of the most scientifically examined, and hotly debated historical artifacts in existence. It is extremely mysterious and unexplained. It's pretty clear it is a snap shot in space/time of that resurrection, energetic process. Hey there "He/She" in the "flesh"...

Tom is mostly right, but there's some caveats. To keep this short and not overshare what I consider one of the most deep, meaningful, and revelatory events of my brief visit to this domain, I will simply say the following: - The groups in this "iteration" may or may not be members (distinct individual consciousnesses) of the "group" (this term is inadequate) your higher self is bonded with, and you may not see them again, and if you do you may not feel the immense, deep, profound connection to them you have here. I can say that encountering my "group" (I have a deep word for these agents) was so intense that I cannot help but feel very at ease knowing they are there waiting for me. The feeling is like realizing that every strand of our character and core being meshes perfectly, and we are whole. It is a feeling of the deepest warmth and love, and in a domain where there is no despair, need for jealousy, or anxiety. At all. It literally doesn't exist. When I saw my "group" they were amazing and full of deep and indescribable love. Their embrace and mere voices were so clear and washed over my presence like a blanket of warmth and compassion. - The "iterations" (individual simulations) are our greater consciousness's ability to experience variation. I will do my best to explain this to everyone who took the time to read this. There is a concept called "Laplace's Daemon". Simplified - It is a hypothetical computer construct that knows the position, direction, rotation and all projected interactivity of all atoms (our universe's "pixels") in this universe. One single variation of a single atom gets you a different result. Sometimes almost almost the same as your current experience, but with pink shoes being the only difference. Now, imagine you want to experience *everything possible*. What you do is you make a construct where you can insert your consciousness into a variation of Laplace's Daemon, and you experience being every permutation of being in every potential permutation of universe by changing every atom in every potential permutation that it can be changed. What this gives our higher selves is the ability to be every possible permutation or outcome of "self". Now, imagine being able to author the general overall framework for a universe. You build this construct with a variety of interdependent and interactive series of laws. You "shake this snowglobe" and knowing that [X] number of times it results in life,, you see what emerges. You then perpetually "image" (save an active state) of this existence all along the way, and change variables and values to experience different outcomes. (This is where the "Mandela Effect" comes from, by the way.) The key is to live out your experience in a given reference frame, and then when you find yourself back in "the waiting room", what I didn't hear Tom say was you CAN simply stay on the higher plane of existence if you so desire, but there seems to be a degree of "stagnation" and the "lack of risk" simply means you can go live another entirely different (or similar) life to the one you just did. Remember that every potential permutation/iteration is available to you. Some more desirable than others. For those of you lost on "meaning of life", the meaning is to take the agency you have, and enjoy/explore the freedom it entails. Define and understand yourself. That is your gift. Stop looking for external definition and validation. In turn, respect and acknowledge the same gift given to others with the knowledge that a devaluation of their agency is an open invitation to devalue yours. If you were externally bound by definition you would be devaluing your agency unless your desire was to be externally defined. FInally: For those who are like, "Well if this is just a simulation, then who gives a shit?" Experience is experience. This is just as meaningful as any other "existence".

@@kenkaplan3654 I appreciate that, but there are pros and cons to sharing my story. I do think it could be very beneficial to others while simultaneously sailing right through one ear and out the other for a large portion of them. Then there is the derision and attempted reduction that comes into laser-focus during and afterwards. I could tolerate both if it meant sharing what has been imparted to me but usually these things devolve into undesirable after effects. I have no egotistical drive for sharing my information. That's so hard for people in this reality to comprehend. There is so much lechery, subterfuge, manipulation, and constant prodding to see how and where one agent can use another to their advantage that it has become the standardized model for *ALL* civilizations on this planet. It is normative social behavior, and it is maddening to someone like me to witness it everywhere I go. There are also people, like me, who are less analytical but more empathetic and compassionate and for these people this is "hell on Earth". It is like being locked in a box of their worst nightmares. This iteration is indeed a struggle to return to basic mutual respect for one another's agency without diminishing the agency of others. When I was there it was abundantly and crystal clear that all agents are equal in this and all iterations, and it is only the impositions we place on each other that reduce us, and it should be our common goal to provide for each other while allowing each agent to have the most freedom as possible. I went as far as to try to formalize the moral model shown to me, and it is vastly superior to antiquated notions of "The Golden Rule", or "Hammurabi's Code". Will or would people listen? Well, I have formalized my model and provided it to philosophers and they immediately ego/authority-peacock, which is ironic given some of the earliest fallacies one learns in philosophy is "Argumentum ad auctoritate" (Argument to authority) and "Argumentum ad verecundiam" (Argument to Reverence). This was frustrating because even though my model was robust, their egos were not, and it turned into what they perceived as an attack on their "selves" as they clung to a different model and the fact that the antiquated model they adhered to was "older and more discussed." I initially wanted to share the beauty of my encounter with others via Alex Ferrari's podcast but my wife told me to think about it for a while just to be sure. So that is where I am at.

@@ralphellis4569 I appreciate that. My take, after doing this for 56 years and having literally hundreds if not thousands of mystical communions with higher order reality is on many levels I am not concerned about the behavior or beliefs of others. In some ways I am as I have learned we all have different triggers. In the metaphysical realm I do not. What I have seen is one of the rules of this place is each is endowed with "dharma" (soul purpose) and alignment with that is impossible to deny. Any frustration might ential karma. I know there is monumental corruption of many things. I don't care. (in this arena, I am more triggrred politically) My job is not to be responsible fior the actions of others but to express myself to the fullest. One thing I know for absolute certainty is there is a Higher Order Source Consciousness (aka God) that we are apriori one with. The illusion of Maya gives the appearance of separation and lack of remenbrance. Once connected to this Source in a truly meaningful, ongoing direct experience way, the lansdscape reveals the reality of love, intelligence, design and grace underpinning everything. As connection deepens, there is expansion on all fronts, especially in awakening and intuition. I feel there are two imperatives. Align as much as possible with one's essence and whatever inlaid gifts have been given. Alignment is key. Then surrender ego conceoptions of what should be or how things should develop. I have been extremely blessed to have been given many gifts and all have been supported by a river of Grace. Simultaneously, "to those who have been given much, there is great responsibility". I was led by Spirit (i don't resonate well with the highly technological language here although I understand it) to the realm of "afterlife studies" and "the technololgy of consciousness" but in a less technical form than Tom erxpresses it. Why are you submitting youyr model or experiences to others one might deem authorities? Who cares what they think?. Neale Donald Walsch wrote Cnversations With God without any of that. Maybe you have more to give, a fresh perspective, than those"authorities". A friend of mine who is a channel said "There is an ear for every voice, and a voice for every ear" Who knows who or how many need your unique expression? I don't know how connected within you are in waking life but my experienes are all answers are there. Gifts and experiences are not given to be hidden. Mazybe thee is just a bit of inner work to do before the gift can be expressed. Maybe there is a plan to heighten your readiness in understanding and communication around these experiences and ideas. I have had a lot of inner obstacles expanding an intutive business but because of these principles and unfathomable support of Grace I am absolutely determined to express these gifts as fully as I can because I know they were inlaid for a purpose. This requires deep, intention on both fronts, alignment and surrender. This is the best I can do for humanity. What happens is not my responsibility. Buddhism is very he;pful in acknowledging and accepting "what is". If we all were blown up tomorrow, it would not change our immortal nature. Hope this helps.

He may also be completely delusional. There is no way to tell. I've tried looking into these topics seriously and have never experienced anything other than general well-being when I meditate. My mind does not jump around. It is still, but that is all it is. Maybe I'm an NPC in the simulation. Wouldn't that be a laugh.

Our avatars are temporary & thus after death the memories of the avatar's experience fades but is saved in the Super Consciousness. Yet our avatar doesn't have access to the unpartitioned or super consciousness. So what really exists is the Super Consciousness generating subsets of itself into unconscious/unaware partitions. Why does it seem counter productive to deny access to the Reality by creating the Illusion? And how can the knowledgeable piece of consciousness be judged or expected to improve via life experiences when that "quality" or potential is not making the choices. I just don't understand the super consciousness is judging itself when it was not making the choices.

With an afterlife like that, who needs a hell? Not to mention this whole evolution/growth process in life. We are put into this reality to learn LIFE lessons that only apply or have value IN LIFE. Then we die and we forget about this reality and who we were in this reality yet apparently lessons from that reality and life you have forgotten like a dream still hold some kind of value? This really seems like getting a nursing degree to work at an autoparts store. None of it comparable.

Think of the netflix show "Altered Carbon" with how they store individual consciousness onto a drive and can reupload that consciousness into a new avatar. In "real" life, there is no disk to get uploaded to as a holding place, instead, it would be a different realm / plane of existence.

I had a NDE, and others have...and there are those that have had OBEs. In those cases the "silver chord" hasn't been severed...and won't be until our physical body reaches the point that it no longer is alive (the ego dies with it). Until the "silver chord" is finally severed, we won't know the full truth of the afterlife, IMO. Until then, whether NDE or OBE (or whatever), we're still subject to our egos, albeit to varying (?) degrees. So, I don't think anyone, while in this physical plane, has a complete picture of the afterlife in interpreting these experiences. NDEs, OBEs all have different (sometimes wildly different) experiences, yet the result in the commonality of the reality of afterlife and the importance of divine love is clearly there.

these emotional peaks (negative or positive) are recorded and stored. A more evolved consciousness may be aware of his own weaknesses and strengths and a less evolved (self centered) one may not be aware of it, so the system will make you go through and feel these peak emotional moments. An example would go like this: System: "see how you said you will be more honest before you engaged in your last simulation and see how you reacted in these situations" then you see / feel those times when you could make the right choices to be honest but didn't. This would show that your inner self still did not grasp this quality, in this case. Let's say that you wanted to experience a physical life system where the beings there have no bad intentions, no ego, no greed, a pleasant place to be and learn other ways of evolving surrounded by great love. Well, if your consciousness level is filled with ego, you would not fit in that place. You will have to qualify first, to get there. The other beings there won't accept you. It's like putting a hungry ferocious lion in a kindergarten. A less evolved form of consciousness would disrupt the on going of activities and learning processes in that more evolved system. I'm not saying your consciousness is primitive but get my point.

@@alneri1249 this just seems like a bunch of nonsensical assumption about the nature of how people are treated. there is no relation to how things actually work, if you are a low quality "being" which is already dumb, there is no standard as to what to call quality you can call anything quality depending on what you want quality means nothing by itself. but ignoring that there is nothing that says you can ressurect in a body that is predisopsed to be more loving and that can live in any society. how do aliesn work? clearly animals and your body determines your behaviour for the most part, excluding whatever spritiual residue you have. so it means nothing. also why have this emotions to begin with if all they do is get in the way of growth?

You know there are thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of people that have had all kinds of altered state experiences and they tell many different stories with few common things between them. So how do you navigate that? There is an extensive literature out there for anyone to look at be it LSD, meditation, shamans, snake handling, you name it they can all talk about the afterlife if you have the time. Pick the one that you like the most. The good news we will all find out some day. If rebirth is the answer it will probably be just like being born, no memory of a past just empty ness. Just my opinion.😊

Whether things work this way or not, I like how Tom states it all confidentially without hesitation! After an eternity of re-births and learning, does your unique personality ever cease to exist, and simply merge to the bigger consciousness? The idea that you will exist in some form or another, without no end, seems pretty bad. And how do ghosts (including that of pets) fit into this picture.. many spooky cases of places that have strange paranormal activity, people getting contact from loved ones that have died but the person didn't know it yet, and just general strangeness involving time slips. Does free will exist, if so who/where is the one doing the deciding? If not, why is it that those that suffer near-death-experiences, often report given the CHOICE to return or not! Also, what about the UFO phenomena.. for example the theory that humans were created by alien race(s), and that they've been tinkering with human dna, to raise our consciousness. Those with raised consciousness appear to be more clairvoyant, and better able to see/communicate with the higher dimension(s). Spirits are able to inhabit some human bodies, at least temporarily. BTW, Michael Levin (Tufts Univ) has some strange experiments where he zaps worms during development and is able to create a second head, with seemingly its own consciousness! How does that work?? Would like to hear a discussion between Thomas and Dr. Jeffrey Long!
