I am often at a loss for words, when trying to describe Angelina Jordan's voice, or what genre she fits in, & I have come to accept, that she does not fit in any category, or genre, & is simply in league all of her own.....This young lady is able to touch hearts & bring out emotions, some of which, we newly discover, while listening to her magical voice....Angelina, is like the Hope Diamond, incredibly rare, perfect clarity, shines brightly, and absolutely stunning to look at! Exquisite! Angelina is incredibly talented, because while giving tribute to the original artist, she still breathes new life into this classic. The result? She's created a new classic... all her own. IMO, the most obvious is that she demonstrated one doesn't have to "belt" their way through a song in order to perform it. Here, Angelina uses incredible thought to what nuances and colors she adds in the right places... All of this based on the believable emotion she liberally paints into the lyrics...without question, Angelina created a masterful work of art.. and wrapped it all up in the amazing soft voice fading to the end.. a perfect ribbon in which to wrap this rendition. One need only take this song at one far end of the musical spectrum and then listen to her singing 'How Great Thou Art' at the furthest opposite end where her low register singing ability is unbelievable for a female of any age. She has an incredible range in her voice, the tones and the sound. And she has full control over it and the emotions she lays in it. She knows that and she or the people around her know what it does to the listener. I love Angelina, but what you hear is the product of a professional team, her company. And I think her willingness to rehearse, fine tune, over and over again until it is perfect, because that is good enough.

This was recorded at the Antique Furniture store in LA on the same day after "Suspicious Minds." Both just spellbinding! She has performed this once again in December 2022 at the Asian American Awards Gala. Few know she is 1/4 Japanese. Few in that audience knew who she even was. She opened with "Bohemian Rhapsody " and ended with "I Have Nothing." She made a whole new crowd of "Angels" like she always does!

On top of delivering a profound, original and creative performance of this song, it is very interesting to know why she loves this song in particular. In her Summer concerts in Norway, she talked about how much she missed her grandmother Mery because she had to stay in LA for health reasons and dedicated the song to her. Interesting Kevin, there are 2 J Jacks out there now! One saying positive things about Angelina while the other we know and are used to seeing. Both are on this reaction page. The newer J Jack id is one letter different(J Jack @jjjack-zm4sr --there is an extra "j" after the @ sign. Not sure who this is but I like that he's positive about Angelina!
