Hi iv got just one thing to say ,listen to her speak at the beginning she 100% had a head cold and to sing that song with head cold for most people would be impossible but you know aj she just hates letting people down so she sang but it still sounded great , this girl is the GOAT .bless you all and especially anjelina ♥️♥️♥️

@@poolhallshark cheers poolhallshark ,these things need to be pointed out, cannot bear thinking aj can do a below performance, the only other performance that she had a cold was il be there, I was in tears because the performance was so beautiful and also the cracking wasn't great , still amazing in my eyes , iv been listening to her for 5 years at leased every other day , sometimes for 18 hours all aj , my daughter and grandchildren think iv got an addiction lol, I'm thinking there right , I'm 64 and listened to music since I can remember, and believe it or not I never really like female singers until aj , my fav 2 singers was tom jones and lionel richie because i love voices , and let's be honest aj's voice is mind blowing, after 5 years I still cant believe that initial shock of her voice when she starts a song , stay safe ♥️🤞🤞 just edited this comment pool because iv just seen your comment which I hadn't seen before I posted mine. @@Bill2982 LOL. I totally get you. We're ALL Angelina addicts over here. My wife and son say the same thing. I was able to bring both along for her concert at Kurbadhagen on July 10th last summer, and they went more quiet after that. They understood that the hype was real🤣😂🥰🥰🥰

Thanks for an absolutely great reaction, my friend. I was very curious to see what you were thinking about this performance, because I knew for a fact that you would pick up on her voice. And I agree with you 100% here. I, too, am very sure that they gave her a way out in her monitor. That WAS a very peculiar way to end it. A WISE choice. I know this may come across a bit "cocky", but I'm not sure if there are too many people out there who has listened MORE to Angelina than I have. 10 years and counting. And to ME at least, it became very obvious from the very first word, even as she was speaking to the crowd, that her voice had taken a hit. And even though her performances were very good, (it's AJ after all, right?), it was almost painful to listen to, because I understood the toll it took. Angelina has never backed out of any performance, she has been sick on stage before, and this was no different. The face value of just being on this gala and performing in the first place is invaluable. So I fully understand her. But it IS sad that she wasn't in ship shape here, as she could have completely lifted the roof right off it's foundations. In that respect, though not having ANYTHING to do with Angelina as an artist, it was an almost missed opportunity. A harsh thing to say, I guess, but that's at least how I feel. In just a few months now, the entire world will have the chance to hear what a GREAT singer she is, when she drops her debut album. I haven't been this excited about anything come music ever before. I sense something REALLY special coming up😉 Much love and respect from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

Well, I liked your singing. Your voice could lullaby me to sleep if the CD ran long enough. I love that she wore her suit made out of fabric featuring her grandma, and then her grandma's art behind her. You know, she sounds like she has a cold. I remember little Angelina. Singing for that fund raiser after she caught cold at the Nobel Peace Prize event. Yes, even speaking, she sounds like she's sick and her throat is going. I love how you are speaking well of this. Great performance - there is some speculation that she either had a head cold or was affected by jet lag, or both. She had just returned from several days in Jordan. She sang this song beautifully as the 18th song, 3rd encore, at her live concert in Norway on July 10, 2022.

Ok, talking about Angelina's vocal stamina..she has no problem with that. In her July concert she sang 18 songs without a break and I Have Nothing is her final song and she took it like it's only just her opening song. In here she only sang 2 songs and on those 2 songs I Have Nothing & Bohemian Rhapsody she both avoided the belting parts of the songs by rearranging it and I guess it was a last minute rearrangement. Her uncle Micheal posted an IG stories saying like they just got home from the middle east trip and went straight to the gala. I'm not sure on the time frame but I'm quite sure the gala is just right after they are confirmed home. So I suspect she still is suffering from a little jetlag here. I'm not sure about the head cold but her speaking voice is like pointing on that direction too. But then again she took care of everything here and made two beautiful performances despite of the circumstances.

Angelina sang her version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" just before singing this song. Some have said she had a cold but we don't know for sure. Her maternal grandfather was Japanese so Angelina is 1/4 Japanese and was a perfect fit to perform at these Asian American Awards back in December 2022. Many thanks Nick for choosing to do another reaction to Angelina, as I always enjoy your reactions/analysis. I now watch 2 videos per day from either Angelina's Official or Cover channel. I ensure that I like, post a new comment, and read, like, and reply when inspired. But here it is from start to the end. Not a single tone sound right. Not even a sick Angelina mis it all. But maybe im just to old and cannot hear. But after a short while when i heard it the first time,i thought that it was a bad mic sound.

Andy, I fully agree with your comments about helping Angelina boost her KZbin algorithm by watching her videos everyday. Take note that all reactors should be encouraging their viewers to do the same in order to support their featured artists. Since the channels cannot exist without them, reactors should provide the artists equal priority and fans should remind them of that. This should apply to all young artists including Angelina.

Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

I totally agree with your analysis of AJ's performance at « 20th Unforgettable Gala » and your observation that she sang « I have nothing » with a tired voice and that she was able to finish her performance intelligently. However, as surprising as it is, she has been singing for more than ten years (and probably not far from fifteen). And not just a little. Probably every day. And as she has grown, her voice has become more and more powerful until she can now sing a song like « I have nothing », which indeed requires an intense physical and vocal effort. As all great singers know, the voice is a delicate instrument that needs to be cared for in order to sing for long periods of time at high volume levels. This is a fear one might have for AJ who, with the ardor of youth, may not yet have realized, even with her uncommon vocal abilities, that even she must watch her voice and not ask more of it. It would be terribly unfortunate if she were to run into problems.

I would argue that angelina Jordan. is truly the voice of this generation. the most versatile. i have never heard a 7 year old. sing like her in my life. and although people could argue that Whitney was the best. Angelina Jordan was blessed to be her equivalent.

Yeah she sounds a bit different. No big deal. I loved it. If she was sick or tired I mean that is usually fine, she doesn't need the texture it can often add, but she's always great either way. Anyway you think they wrapped it up early and let her know in the ear piece maybe? That's kind of neat if so. You are right, some days the voice can have little endurance no matter who you are. This was only her second song I think, but I mean she can do 20 most days, handles this kind of thing fine when it isn't as great a day, and it was just one of those days maybe. Anyway you have actually always been one of the best reactors for her I've seen. She is right up your ally, you are very knowledgeable and passionate. Heck even your intro where you sang for way too long was fine, your voice is gorgeous, straight up and down like 6 o' clock.

Very perceptive reaction... I love your reactions as you know so much about singing. I don''t think the issues you allude to are due to her having sung (just one) earlier song... she can sing a set perfectly without issue normally... I am pretty sure that at this event she both had a cold and, mostly likely, jetlag, having flown back from the Middle East to LA either that day or at most the day before... but she carried on as she is a trooper.. My feeling is that she rearranged the song at the last minute to suit her vocal condition... and it slightly went wrong right at the end. Still beautiful though.

About her struggle, is it my imagination or am I hearing a slight cold on her voice? I can hear the cold or at least allergies. That gets your whole frontal mask. It also plays havoc with your hearing. I do not know who the accompaniment was but Angelina depends on the band to follow her. There just seemed a bit of a disconnect between the two. The trouble with high notes were also the result of the little misconnection and she was worn out. Only devout haters would find fault with this performance. Angelina is going to be a SuperStar for sure. Nic great reaction as always, and don't let those SOB's come at you about your singing. This shows her professionalism. I don't think she was feeling her best. You could hear throughout her performance that she was struggling in places in no way a healthy Angelina struggles. Even struggling, she puts out a performance the majority of professional singers couldn't match. It's actually these performances when there is some adversity that shows she is the best there is.
