Have you considered doing a Gem-less run? They're super cool and this is really impressive, but I'd love to see you do a more "pure" run, as the Gems, even with a working Action Guage, are just way too OP imo Also yes I'm bad at using them quickly and jealous at how you were able to git gud lol It would also be rad to see one of those controller input tracker things on screen if you can get one set up

Yes, I’ve done many gemless runs, had the world record last update for it. They’re cool, but the gems are my favorite power ups in the series, so any% is my jam. On my normal setup I have a controller display, for this commentated run I wanted it to be as “simple” as possible for newcomers to the game.

I’ve been having a hard time trying to play sonic 06 bc whenever I extract and try and open sonic the hedgehog exe it always says system error. Any advice on what to do?

try it. there's plenty of video settings so worst comes to worst you need to play on lower graphical settings, but considering chaosX's old computer... yeah no it's optimised

1:06 One more thing you missed about the Rainbow Gem, even if you hacked it in and Sonic did the animation, the game would instantly crash. The animation was also unfinished too and just had him T-Posing

Wait this made me think, how the HELL is eggman still alive? he's been stranded alone in space many times, he's been trapped in the literal void between space and time, and more. there aint no way a normal human can escape from the void between space and time with literally nothing regardless of IQ. eggman is absolutely cracked.

(Replying to prior comment) I'll probably wait for at least a $40 Black Friday or Xmas sale, but at that price is Superstars worth it if I'm looking for some more solid 2D Sonic, no more no less? Did you personally enjoy it? (I already own 2/3K/Mania BTW...all lotsa fun to play and replay! I favor Mania over 2 but only cause there's more levels, the reused ones are often quite creatively reinvented which typically makes them feel at least half-new. And it does not have Metropolis Zone!) Side note I'd recommend Triple Trouble 16 Bit for 2D - a fairly short but amazing fangame.
