This is just my opinion but I think many elite WR's get a bad wrap and people often don't see the flip side of the argument. To be an elite WR you typically have to be incredibly SOUND, probably a freak athlete, be incredible processor of defensive coverage while running full speed, and then of course you have to have an innate ability to track and catch the ball. To be an elite QB on the other hand although it's nice to have a big arm and other tangible assets it usually typically just comes down to being an ultra quick and elite processor of defense. If a QB can not process and thus would not have a chance at being elite (let's just use Davis Mills for this example) I don't think Stefon Diggs would be as pissed off or angry. Nor should most WR's. It's pretty much expected that you're going to suck. But when you're an elite WR and you're playing with an elite QB it's hard not to have expectations of being better, especially when you have the capability, processing power, and talent to be. This is in my opinion what happened between Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen. Stefon Diggs thought higher of Josh's ability and Josh Allen just let him down over and over again, almost so it seemed purposeful. Although I'm not willing to go that far and say Josh Allen would rather sabotage the team rather than throw to Stefon Diggs I believe that's what took place was. An an erosion of trust between the two. This play you showed here towards the end of your video (of the JT O'Sullivan QB School) where the read should absolutely have been Stefon Diggs but it wasn't. How can you as a professional elite WR build respect and trust for your teammate and supposed elite QB who's supposed to be a fellow professional as well. The answer is in time this trust eroded and of course when so blaming and frustration kicked in with each other. All in all the whole time all the elite WR wanted was for you (the supposed elite QB) to play up to the level you're capable of playing every single time (down in and down out) as you've shown to be able to spurts throughout the course of your career. My diagnosis and Hot Take. Josh Allen isn't as good a processor as we believe he is and Stefon Diggs is going to love it here in Houston playing with CJ Stroud this upcoming season.

I'm not trying to build a narrative or anything, but it seems like it might be Josh Allen's fault. He seems more offended than Stefon when the drama is brought up, Rich Eisen was raising his voice just to try to understand what on earth he's talking about, and honestly I couldn't imagine how insulting it would be to get snapped at after a loss by Josh Allen who more than likely threw multiple interceptions that lead to the loss along with maybe some drops from Stefon. If anything, I say his problem is that he's too vocal about being miserable and maybe a bit emotional, but I can't see that trend really happening with CJ who doesn't throw interceptions like Josh Allen and with a real leader who understands his players like DeMeco Ryans and just the overall vibe in Houston is so much better than anything New York. I used to live in upstate New York and it truly is the most miserable place I've ever been in. I think people are going to be surprised to see Stefon wanting to stay here in Houston

That’s what I’m saying! Half of Digg’s targets were damn near uncatchable I’d be mad too. He won’t have the same issues with CJ because he’s accurate and makes his receiver’s lives easier

Still early. This is a fun training session in LA. Slowly ramping up. They invited Diggs to start getting acquainted. CJ and Tank building timing together again after Tank's injury. Tank and Metch are his good friends on the team.

UCLA Bruins field. In one video with Tank, you see the name "Bruins" on the wall. This was also where CJ took his WRs to train before the training camp last year.
