What good is more benefits when we can't get the ones we have now. Part of healthcare is mental healthcare and we don't get much if any in Maine. Almost impossible to get mental health counseling. So you go ahead and talk about Elizabeth Dole and all the good things that are going to happen. When you can't use the services.

The VA in Manila doesn’t have all the facilities like in the US. No travel pay when you have appointments. No Sleep Center or orthopedics at the VA hospital. Sure, you could go look around but it would be so much better to have everything you need at the VA in Manila. And they only treat what is service connected, unlike the US.

@@gunnycamacho8824 No dental or eye care either. Well, they have eye care, but it has to be service connected. They had a supply room and orthopedics, the clinic manager at the time got rid of them, so he can get a fat bonus for saving money. He works for the State Department now.

There is a reason why veterans leave the VA worse than when they go in. If you just gave veterans the money they need to get civilian assistance, you would not need the VA and would save billions.
