Sigma = Alpha ASD. Everyone I ever knows that had Asperger's or high functioning Autism matches this descriptions. I people like Keean Reves also match this. I know first hand since I too am on the spectrum. And if not fully "on the spectrum" had at least 1 or 2 traits in common with ASD.

A Sigma father will sacrifice everything to prove to the child he has their best interest in mind. He will sacrifice his feelings, his ideas, his opinions, his dreams, in order to send a unequivocal message. " I love you without question". Sigma male ish.

This is a year late in responding to this comment, but this could be the very best comment in explaining how a sigma would react to being a father. We would sacrifice everything....I felt that because I have sacrificed all of my being for my child.

My father was sigma, my employer, employee, coworker, and my best friend. It was hard during my youth, he had a lot on his plate, but he made up for it later in life. I grew up to be like him. No children though, just nephews, nieces, 2nd cousins that look up to me for some reason, is just as good if you ask me.

A sigma infj who just went through a divorce and has 3 daughters whom he loves with all his being says: “Use your introverted intuition to play the long game. Realize the pain your children are enduring as they have witnessed the implosion of their dreams. A mother and father who couldn’t work out their problems and thought the solution was to end it. It is so selfish to divorce but it requires 2 honest adults be willing to make changes. Even if you have limited access to your children, be the happy parent. Never let how you were treated by your ex affect your relationship with your child. Validate your child. They need you to be the happy and healthy parent. Become what you want your child to become. Put the work into yourself to be the best version of you. If you do that then you will be their hero. You will be what they need to succeed!”

Just felt like is ,if I was to go through it now, it could detrimentally affect him worse then my own unhappiness. And I don’t think I am prepared too take the chance, seeing how well he is doing and has done. Life isn’t easy. God shown my purpose on this rock was that amazing and special kid laughing in his room on the phone with his buddy at this moment. Never want him too feel the pain I’ve have endured.

Sigma fathers sometimes do the homework themselves then have thier child write it in thier own writing. This also adds time for a fun activity. Schools just give too much damn homework sometimes.

Feel very confident as a remote father. Only thing very hard to swallow; lying or cheeting behaviour of children. I do keep patience but it hurts when I rarely see it.. Very hard to see other parents saying all the time, day in and out; no, no, stop, be careful, dont go there, no you must not do it like that, dont toutch that radio, you must do this like this and that and so on and on.. So enormously proud when I saw my daughter come down from the stairs all by herself for the first time, at very young age, backwards ! Clapping her hands for herself.

My wife is the kind of parent who believes in, "my house, my rules," and "do what I say, not what I do." My parenting style is, "if you are interested in learning about what I am doing, you are welcome to join me and I will teach." I also believe in talking with me children to make rules that makes sense to us for us. They have pointed out some flaws in the logic of some of the house rules. Those rules changed as a result.

Hi I'm raising 2 boys and two girls with one on the way. Please tell how one can be more emotionally supportive, I'm really trying but it's not easy. I've cried once a year alone for the past several years just so I don't get to emotional by surprise or accident. What I'm saying is I've worked pretty hard to be rid of my emotions. I recently mourned friends that died over a decade ago. It's not easy at all but I'm trying. If you can please tell me ways your dad could've been better in that way. I don't want to miss out on this.

I’m really going to say your points are spot on so true. Even with the fears you point out . Didn’t know I was a sigma till after I watched a few videos about it and every video feels like you are talking about me. I’ve been described as a lone wolf and someone who likes to be an underdog and someone always in his head and loving his space. I don’t like the limelight and I am also confident when around my people. I don’t like small talks and I like having small interactions instead of large ones. Even with the kind of women you describe you describe exactly what I look for especially loyalty it’s like you are in my head

I'd say lying, cheating, stealing and be in the house by sundown is typically the 4 main rules. Other rules is asking for too much. Making above average grades in school should never be a rule because I know how evil the school system is and they'll never teach the children what they need to know, except I'm all for Math and English. My children will succeed, even if the school system fails them. Being independent is literally the atom bomb to all government so once I have kids of my own they'll know how much power they truly have.

I agree on these points and want to add something to it. I choose to become a father, in the whole video it sounds like Sigmas don't want to become fathers because they don't want to give up their freedom. That's not really true, I had the knowledge and asset nobody was interested in and I've lost my father and brother as a kid, so I decided to give the next generation some bits and pieces on their way. I knew early that I wanted a family, so I bought my first house when I was 21 years old, today I have 3 kids and they admire my unbelievably. Sometimes they just come to me for a 30 minutes hug 😅 and they want to learn everything from me and not my wife. Cycling with daddy Cooking with daddy Singing with daddy Dancing with daddy and Learning with daddy I do have a lot of patience for my kids but I don't have to much for my wife, after 5 years I'm still trying to find a good balance for us so I don't overstrain her. The same goes for the kids, they should never have the feeling that they are not good enough, they should be encouraged that anything is possible. Also a missing thing in the video was empathy. Sometimes kids don't want to say what's going on and they're just dejected. Seeing that, taking them to the side and having a nice conversation is very important to strengthen their personality and willpower. If they understand from a young age that you shouldn't take everything to heart, they will be better off later in life. Also knowing that they can always come to me no matter what. Having such a high level of trust is very important, the day will come when they'll come in contact with drugs and similar things and I would like them to come to me on their own to tell me about it!

No idea... I will propably be a too strict father... but my sisters kids love me and think I am the best... then again, some of my gf's had kids, I tried to teach them MMA and other things, but they lacked serious discipline, and I hoped Muay Thai along with my other students would help... No such thing. Never ever get involved with a woman whom has kids from another, just way too many issues, and they refuse to be helped. I and I am very pro discipline, and that is the problem with society today. Totally undisciplined and I just go my own way and avoid all that negativity.
