There were no questions that were word for word the same as UWorld however there were lots of questions that I knew what knowledge the NCLEX was looking for just based on the question alone. It was like I could predict the answers before I read them. Was it a super easy exam? No of course not but I felt that UWorld preps you very very well. 55% to 60% is very good. Took my exam Saturday 6/8/19. I got all 265 questions. I had the majority of SATA and prioritizing questions. The questions got harder each time. I felt like I had to throw up and I had a headache by time I finished. I did the PVT, got the “good message” the same day. Paid for my unofficial results today and found out that I passed!

This is so true. Based on my experience when i took the exam,I had SATA type questions almost every other item. Everytime I confidently answered SATA types they gave me another one in which I noticed a pattern. In my opinion SATA and prioritizations are top tier questions so make sure you nail em. When you think you're getting bombarded with hard type questions. rejoice! Cuz you're on the right track. Just remember you can't know it all. The technique in answering is trully weighing and eliminating choices. Took me 75 questions in an hour and I'm done :) Trust your gut feels if you're unsure of your answer Good luck future USRNs!

I passed Nclex 10-10-2019 in 75 questions in 2hrs. This is after i failed the exit hesi 3 times 😩. As you can imagine my confidence level went way down. My school was different because if you failed exit hesi 2 times they made you take a 1 month summer class AFTER you graduate and then you can take the exit hesi a 3rd time. If you didnt pass it a 3rd time they did nothing and finally released your transcript to apply for nclex. I would like to mention my grades were great in nursing school always passed each semester with a high B, but i always failed hesi for whatever reason. I didnt study for them i guess so im sure thats why 😏. Moving forward i was nervous to take the nclex and decided to go with HURST REVIEW. When I tell you it simplified the info for me and got rid of the fluff material so well. We learn so much in school and I had a hard time condensing the info to the most important material. I recommend hurst to anyone that may have struggled like i did. I hated SATA in nursing school(dont we all) and everytime i did hurst practice questions they had a good amount of SATA. So, anytime i would see them it didnt phase me as much anymore. I felt the nclex was just like the hurst simulation exams. During the nclex i didnt feel it was hard at all. I honestly thought it was easy so i thought i may have failed after i finished 🤷🏾‍♀️. We hear all the time if it seems easy you arent doing well on the test, but that wasnt my case. I was shocked it cut off at 75 because I didnt feel the questions was getting harder in my opinion and considering I failed multiple hesi i was expecting it to be the hardest exam of my life. I had harder exams in nursing school 🤐. However, i understand what may be easy for me may be hard to someone else. I had a lot of priority questions and management of care questions. I had a few SATA but not sure how many because like i said previously it became just like another test question so i dont get anxiety when i saw them anymore. As some have said the test is hyped up but in reality its not that bad. So, for future nclex takers: utilize a review, relax, you made it this far, and go pass that exam. If i can do it so can you. 🤗

When I took the NCLEX in 2002...there were no SATA questions..the test was strictly questions and scenarios..I don't think I could pass NCLEX today with the way it is SETUP..glad I went thru it in the early 2000s

My wife took her exam last week. Stopped at 76 questions. Lots of sata prioritization and delegation. She feels confident in her answers because that is what she focused on before her exam. Don't have the results yet but can't believe that she would be doing so bad that the test would end at 76.

This video really give clear introduction about the NCLEX exam . I would like to ask you about the resources to study well for the exam . As you know Sanders is one of the famoust book but I found it heavy material and too mach which is 1000 pages . I have alternative resource called Exam Cram, third edition which is around 500 pages . Do you think this book is a good resource and enough with U World ? Thank you

yahya mousa uworld is incredible. I would say use uworld first. Your results will show you your weak spots. Fill in the gaps with Saunders. Then do uworld again. Good luck with your studies!

@@clendiaulysse2439 Uworld. The format looks just like it and the rationales are very detailed. I did some of Kaplan as well. The questions on NCLEX mimic Kaplan more but I didn't like the rationales at all. You really only need one. Of the two I would choose Uworld. And my school provided the Hurst review before covid

If you haven’t purchased uworld I would highly recommend as the rationals are priceless and helped me recall what I learned in school! If you are taking it soon.... you got this!

Hey actually not you don’t have to u just have to take one course that has Assessment and Jurisprudence and you will be good I did my BScN from India and I got my education recognized and got my NCLEX

It will make you wait 48 hours. I attempted at earlier times and I would just get a message saying “results not currently available”.

There's this PVT (pearsonvue trick). Either good or bad pop up. U can try it around 30mins after ur exam 😊
