I think this is the only way you can do it. Spot yourself acting in a way you dont like, negate it and define the other side, so you have both sides, and then take a look at which is kinder and nicer, and go with that one. Rather than try and attack or agree with just one. Later perhaps we will refine that so that we see ourselves in both sides, so we can bring it all together. Perhaps once we do that then we see another duality (light/shadow). But I am no Guru so who knows what is the best way, or even what is true or not.

Sri Gurudev says you shouldn't copy from other cultures. But that would mean that there would no longer be any cultural exchange - which has always existed in human history. For example, I come from Austria, but due to the religions in my environment, I also feel connected to India on some issues. What's wrong with that? Isn't it nice to learn from each other and not define your spirit on local borders? Am I not supposed to watch videos like this because I'm from Europe? Then why is Sri Gurudev visiting Europe himself? Maybe I misunderstood him at this point (my English isn't that good) and maybe someone would be so kind as to explain it to me. Thanks!

Ohhh!! Should India stay in misery forever? As the British empire left them?... Yes? If you are wise you must be poor to proof it? Eyes are not the windows to the soul. Where I live they say, " eyes are the soul's mirror" - quite different are a mirror and a window. We see the world as we are. Soul does not see through the sense perception. Eyes are just a camera, it does not read the information. Mind read the information coming form the eyes and interpretation is done by the set up we hold in our mind. First survival, belief system, likes and dislikes and go on.... Soul does not work with accumulated information. It is of another quality and nature all together.
