I adore Shakespeare and Pinter. Tom’s portrayal of Coriolanus was magical. Truly a great performance!

Well I feel like I have just listened to a wonderful lecture. Tom is a natural "teacher" (which I believe is rooted in his deep desire to make sure he is correctly understood, as well as a desire to inform others). He would be an excellent Instructor, & his students would be so very lucky to have him as their teacher.
I owe Tom for finally putting me on to le Carre, about whose writing I had entirely the wrong idea (dour Cold War amoralist, blah, blah) and who is every bit as absorbing and wonderful to read as he says! I'm looking forward to reading all the rest of his novels, though "Night Manager" will be hard to top.
