When l started to buy stocks, my capital was small so l took risks by playing the speculative stocks.. I managed to make money and l switched back to bluechips when the market crashed. Lucky l done that because all my speculative stocks went bust but my hammered down bluechips recovered back to their top... So far l yet to lose a single cents if l can buy the bluechips when they were hammered down.. They always bounce back stronger but not my speculative stocks.

"Most people in Malaysia are speculators so don't feel left out" I unfortunately felt like the odd one and laughed out loud. My dad was a speculator. Worse, he bought odd lots to attend AGM and get freebies. So I inherited a portfolio of 500 counters. I am trying to pare this down to 50 healthy shares. So I am generally turning the counters into full lots and selling the dodgey ones. Just using Simply Wall Street's snowflake assessments to decide my keep or sell decisions

I dont know how to play stock. When the market fell during a financial crisis, all bluechip stocks in the banking sector crashed below 80% of their value. I bought up most of the top stocks like Maybank and Public bank against all the top analyst advices. I hold to my stocks until all recovered back to the top. 🤫
