There's no way to train "correctly".
@chelsieclaire14734 жыл бұрын
@@lux6961 Yes, there is. This is it. Things like shock collars make your dog more stressed and less likely to listen to you. If you hurt your dog while training them, all you're doing is making them scared of you and more likely to act out. Harsh punishments are cruel and unnecessary when things like clickers and treats exist. Dogs are smart. They know when they've done something right when dogs are given treats and toys, and when they've done something wrong when all they get is told off.
@kaedavv32294 жыл бұрын
Chelsie Claire We use a shock collar only when we have company over, and we never actually use the shock button. We kept the shock at a very low rate and pressed it to let him know that there was a slight vibration when it beeped, so now all we have to do it let the remote make the sound without vibrating and he calms down. We only use it when company’s around because he can get way way too excited. Other than doing this, a shock collar shouldn’t be used regularly or for all training

Robert Schlesinger I just got a puppy a few weeks ago and have been heavily training commands. My pup is 12 weeks and knows sit, down, stay, leave it, “off”, and spin and is only getting better! It’s super interesting to watch her learn, and she genuinely wants to please me. Sometimes I’ll give a command and have to watch her think about it before she remembers! Once she starts understanding a command she gets very excited and proud of herself 💖🥰
