If anyone wants to wonder why Liverpool are currently sitting top of the premier league table right now, Dominik Szoboszlai has been a big reason for that. Right now, he is one of the best midfielders in world football and has taken the premier league by storm since his arrival at Liverpool in the summer. A lot of people had initial doubts on how he would settle at Liverpool, due to the price tag and also over the years, players have been unable to replicate the form that they showed in the Bundesliga into the premier league, and he was an excellent midfielder at RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig, playing as a number 10 an advanced midfielder LM RM, under Jurgen Klopp's system at Liverpool as a number 8 more of a box to box midfielder, playing deeper, he has taken his game to another level. Last season, the weakest area in the Liverpool team was the midfield and his presence has made them more dangerous going forward, as he's technical an engine, can create, produce excellent long shots combined with his defensive work. He has offered a different element in that midfield and he is seen as the next Steven Gerrard and there's a reason for that. His excellence at Liverpool is well documented as Dominik Szoboszlai is getting the praise that he deserves, a lot of people will look at the numbers and he does have a fair number of goals and assists, overall he has brought so much to the team and I always knew that he was a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp's team and ok the stats aren't the most flashiest, but he's an elite midfielder. If Liverpool go on to win the premier league, since they have an advantage in the title race over Manchester City and Arsenal, most of it will be down to his performances.

I saw Szobo on 2 matches already.In one of them he scored a brace.⚽️⚽️Next week he comes home to international break.And I will see his 22march and 26march game.We have a stadion of 65000. I also think that the term Bundesliga tax doesn't really exist and it's very funny how quick the fans are to judge a player especially when they come to the premier league directly from the Bundesliga. Over the years, we've seen a lot of players play some of the best football of their career in the Bundesliga, but they often don't translate it in the premier league for some reason and a lot of people push a narrative about how the premier league is the most difficult league in the world and how any player that comes from the Bundesliga or another league they're automatically gonna flop and we've seen that with the likes of Jadon Sancho and Timo Werner where they just couldn't cut it in the premier league after doing so well in the Bundesliga. Remember, Erling Haaland came to Manchester City from the Bundesliga, and a lot of people believed that the premier league was more difficult than the Bundesliga, yet in his debut season, scored 36 goals in the premier league broke a scoring record and he literally averages a goal a game scoring goals at a better rate in the premier league than he ever did in the Bundesliga. Dominik Szoboszlai has proven those critics wrong and we see it in his performances as he is a complete midfielder who can literally play anywhere on the field, his mold as a player suits the number 8/box to box midfield role when he was playing further forward at RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg. Long shots, passing, runs, dribbling, playmaking etc, the guy can do it all and his set piece deliveries are also very dangerous and when it comes to recruitment, Liverpool for the most part have hardly put a foot wrong under Jurgen Klopp and this is what they're so good at identifying talent and getting the right player for their system, something that other top teams are lacking. The premier league is the best league in the world, and sometimes it can be a little overrated and it's not that difficult of a league to play in, because players do flop in the premier league Antony and Mudryk for ex, the league plays a role, but it's not the only reason why they flop, because what we've seen from Dominik Szoboszlai, to me greatness needs to be appreciated a little more, because if you're a good player, you're gonna do well in any league in the world and it doesn't matter if you're playing in the premier league La Liga Serie A or Bundesliga. He is Liverpool's best midfielder since Steven Gerrard and he's set up for long term success there and he's one of the cores of the team in the present and future, what a signing he has been, exceeded expectations, immediately hit the ground running, and has proven that for some players, Bundesliga tax doesn't exist with how they perform in the premier league.
