Szobz recovery is amazing and he hardly fault his opponent in the process. He is one of the first players to arrive our penalty box when we are under counter attack and also the first to press right up into the opposition’s box.

Szobo seems to play similarly like hendo in the klopp era, in terms of energy and pressing but faster and slicker. Szobo just needs to add goals to his game to make him a more complete midfielder.

I don’t buy into all this Szobo criticism… I am with you. He is and has been amazing in the way he harries, press, creates space, pulls defenders and progression. He always is the first to contest second balls. Also he runs non stop for 110m! Crucial to complement Macca who has less pace and can’t cover space and Grav who would be over stretched.

Dom should play as no 8 at double pivot. That’s the most suitable position for him. His athleticism in that position is so valuable

At this point i'm waiting for Slot to use Szoboslai alongside Jones at some moment. Before I thought off It only with Jones in the double pivot, and Szoboslai ahead, but this point of Szoboslai being better on the left made me curious of a Szoboslai and Jones pairing of number 8 that had Szoboslai on the left and Jones on the right.

We are so lucky to have such quality in midfield that Dom not wowing at the moment isn’t a huge issue. I have every faith that he will be one of the main stays for this years challenge and for years to come….ill regret these words if we sell him next year 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

A real 10 player like Bruno Fernandes, Palmer, Bernardo Silva, or Gerard, Lampard, a Pirlo, and I could list much, They were not a water carriers, without any creativity. They shooted lot of penalty free kicks, spot kicks, corners, which were all possible goals or assists. The partners looked for them with the ball and play with it.We expect Dominik to score goals and prove himself, but what if he hardly gets the ball in the attacking third? Dominik lose the all aspect what he liked, no free kick, no point kick, penalty, big play in small place,because we play with long ball most of the time. I think Dom lost his creative ,because we just play with him as a water carrier guy.I think we wasted his talent, which is fine with us, but he would be much more successful in another team, I'm sure of that.

Can we just appreciate both for what they are? They have different qualities to them. Curtis' ball retention is the best in the team, and we have a control based system so he's really useful. Dom can make the opposition make mistakes in their own half and create space for Mo and forwards with his off the ball movement, and can also cover a lot of ground defensively as well while at it. We should be grateful we have such a set of midfielders on our hands. We are top of the leagues, people, and all our players contributed to that including Dom and Curtis.

Dom has quality but it's been about a year since we've seen it.. the same thing people praise dom for is what hendo use to get criticism for.. Running stats and hard work.. On the ball there's no excuses that will mask that he's been poor
