Dreams are key. In Haitian vodou, the ancestors and lwas share the knowledge in dreams. This is happening to me because my family abandoned vodou (under pressure from Christianity at some point) and the ancestors just kept showing me things to do in dreams...they're very powerful and vivid dreams that you can't ignore...I'm now learning to cook for the ancestors etc...They just show me what to cook in dreams and I execute. If i make a mistake as happened with one meal, the spirit showed me that in my dream. African spirituality is just truly beautiful!

Modupe Pupo Baba!!! I I really appreciate this video because so many initiated eniyan want the pots and titles that they completely pass up getting to know their Egungun. My Baba made sure that the first shrine I ever received was my Ajuba Egun, and it's been a blessing a historical eye opening experience, and I am honored. I am doing things I never imagined. I love Orisa and they are important on this journey But Nothing comes before your Egungun Iba se Egungun Modupe 💀🙏🏾👣

Wow! Really Great message! Dreams can be so abstract it’s crazy and I have to remember to write before I wake up all the way cause I’ll forget the dream? It’s So crazy I do a lot of lucid dreaming in the morning in and out of the dream space I have to start writing before I have that first thought of the What the new day is bringing!

Alaafia Obafemio, This is very inspiring and intriguing knowledge you shared in this video. I appreciate your willingness to provide a platform where people like myself can come to learn the importance of connecting with one's Ancestors. And just as crucial is learning how to tap into one's ancestral spiritual inheritance. You are absolutely, right being initiated but not embodying one's ancestors spiritual DNA is useless. Most importantly one can't effectively bring the condition that Oludumare assigned Us before our human existence. Thank you!

A priestess showed up in my dream before I knew of her. I began seeking more information on Yoruba practice because I have almost all the traits of Yemoja. Two weeks after the dream that the woman appeared in, I came across her actual KZbin channel. I reached out to get answers and no response from her. I don't know if she is aware of me as I am of her. Are prophetic dreams like this common to you?

Hi, thank you for taking the time to share knowledge with a great of understanding of Orisa life style. I had been in a journey that led me on a crooked path. Now I had to start over. I have seeked out elders for advice and with your videos I have found inspiration and encouragement. It has been a tough road ahead of me but I have been blessed. It is so true about Ori identity, I thought you was speaking directly to me. I been working on dream interpretation, I wanted to ask you when you had time what are some methods of lifing up the inner spiritual being one must identify? Thank you from Obatilemi.

I really believe in consistency and correctness. So, whatever you do, be consistent. Likewise, seek out established traditions/methodologies. In my book, Pataki, I give basic instructions in daily devotion. You may find it useful. Visit obafemio.com/publications for details

I'm in the same boat as you are. I'm watching his videos and doing research in every perspective to gain more knowledge. This is my ancestors traditional religion, though some family members are followers and priests of Balo (Cuban dark side of Regla de Ifa). I always felt I was meant to be a teacher, I'm currently questioning what type of teacher I should be. I know for one thing... I am a teacher that believes in continuous learning as a student. All that a teacher is... is a self guiding student who is good at acquiring knowledge and learning.. once you stop learning and acquiring knowledge, you stop being a good teacher. Keep on learning, you'll get there soon.
