In this video, we delve into the durability and performance of GEOTUBE units used in a Vietnamese project over nine years.
Installed in 2014, these geotextile tubes were integral for improving soil stability and managing water flow. Our periodic testing revealed key findings, including effective sand entrapment, maintained flexibility, and an impressive 74% retention of tensile strength despite prolonged UV exposure.
These results underscore GEOTUBE units’ minimal degradation and robust performance, as well as its reliability for long-term engineering projects in harsh environments.
