HOW EASILY CAN YOU CATCH EVERY POKEMON? (The Living Dex Subathon)

Although I've completed a ton of catching challenges in the Pokemon series, I've always had the idea of catching every single Pokemon in one video. I decided to do a streaming subathon, where I had to either catch every Pokemon, or fail because the sub timer went down to zero. Can I catch them all in time? Today we're going to find out how easily you can catch every Pokemon. This video took a lot of time and effort to put together, so I'd really appreciate it if you shared this with a friend. The way I see it, if GameFreak is going to be unfairly stingy with Mythical Pokemon AND prevent trading them in Pokemon HOME, then cheating them in is morally valid. There's NO REASON anyone should be locked out of a complete dex just because they missed an event that happened a decade ago.

See, on the one hand, I agree. On the other, it makes it hard for the events to feel special if you can just get them later no worries. Maybe exclusive moves could have fixed that but then that messes up competitive pokemon and gives long-time players an unfair advantage. I guess maybe they could shinylock mythicals and give out event shiny mythicals instead?

Cherrim setting up Sunny day is actually benificial for you. Once flower gift is active you get a special defense boost for you and your party members, basicly negating the sun boosted damage by reshiram but also you and your party gets an attack boost

here's a strategy to get through bdsp faster (it's completely banned for speedruns but it works for stuff like this). catch an abra in the wild after beating roark, then transfer it to legends arceus, evolve it into an alakazam with a linking cord, and train it up as high as you want (i just went simple to level 45 but you could go up to 100 if you really wanted to). then, transfer it back to bdsp, and since you caught it in bdsp it will still have your trainer id and it'll obey you.

I actually started my own version of this challenge: A chronological order catch-em-all where I have to catch and evolve all Pokemon in the generation they were introduced in unless otherwise noted. So I am going to catch most of the Pokemon Crystal Pokemon in Pokemon Crystal and transfer them to Home and then go through Pokemon XD and catch a lot of Shadow Pokemon, purify them and transfer them, etc. (I have a lot of games and XD because I was going for a ribbon master challenge but dropped it when I saw how difficult the contests would be. Used your sub-athon to grind out levels in Secret of Mana. You don't know how hard it is to grind until you grind out Level 8 Magic in Secret of Mana. X_X
