Hi Steve, there is no difference in setting these up to a normal rectangular label as shown in video 2 of this series, the printer doesn't know, or care that there is a circle within an outer square frame it only sees the square.

Great videos. I have a C6500P model. Is there a way to turn off the peeler function if I want to just run a bunch of labels without having to press the peel button on the control panel?

Hi, yes, in the media definition in the driver you select Rewind as the issue mode. This is the only way to disable the peel sensor.

Are you able to switch back and forth between using the black matte vs gloss ink cartridges?

No, this is not possible, you either choose matte, or standard inks at the outset and then you stick with them for the life of the printer.

Hi, thanks for the information. Need this to print product labels. However want to print on gloss as well as on matte media. Which ink type do you think would fit both? Thanks in advance.

Just buy the standard printer, the quality of the black will be fine. The MK version is really only for specialised applications on matte media where a very dense black is essential.
