Wanna hear a crazy jet ski story? When I was a deckhand on a Benetti 125, good size yacht, we had a guy in a jet ski come out and run up next to the yacht and he took an empty beet can and some gum and stuck the can to the side of the yacht. So we radioed the harbormaster because obviously we could have killed him because we actually thought we ran over him, so when the Marina Provizianal showed up and asked him what he was doing, he said that he was simulating attaching a limpet mine to the hull of a fast attack frigate. Obviously he was drunk, but just 6 years prior to that, thats what happened to the USS Cole in a way. We also had a jet ski try to 'wake surf' us and they got caught up too close when we cut the engines and she rode right up onto our swim deck, and in another incident in France, the owner's girlfriend liked to tan au naturale. Well some people on ski's next to us saw her walking around the deck and they went back to get their big ol VHS camcorder (remember those?) and they were both too busy ogling her and not paying attention and smacked into the channel marker. Low speed so they were ok, but oh no...their camera and footage were ruined.

Great video. Nothing worse than the saloon doors chattering between the ears.😄 Activated charcoal tablets are effective for absorbing the nasties from the night before. Generally used for controlling the body's bilge pump after a dodgy Kebab, but best not taken close to any medication or headache remedies as it tends to render them less effective. I'll probably be in a similar state of dishevelment next week after a whiskey tasting event I'm going to. 😵 Once every so often is allowed. Once the missus can lie you on a skate board and push you home your quids in!

Hi James, a nice day trip from Ciutadella to Cala D'Or in calm seas. I would not like anyone to think that they could actually run a 60 foot power boat in Mallorca for only €45,000 - €50,000 a year.......the actual costs (excluding capital cost and depreciation) will be €70 / €80,000 per year when you add in insurance, annual haul out , hull cleaning and re antifouling, servicing the main , engines & generator, gardienage etc and before fuel at around €375 / hour. Add in a bit for depreciation and you are soon looking at €200,000 minium per year. Kind regards, John A, boating in Mallorca for more than 40 years. PS You can buy a nice second hand live aboard boat for under €100,000 and "only" spend €20 / 25,000 / year and have just as much fun☺

Hey, wondered about you recently, not seen you for a while. I would like the s65 or s78 but do prefer the MY as they have more room on the flybridge. When I lived in Mallorca I lived in Alcudia, mostly Brits (a much bigger harbour now) and went to Cala Pi a couple of times (used to be majority German and French there).
