HOW EASY IS THE DIY CHICKEN HOOP COOP?!- Here’s our version!

Please add some perches 2x4 flat side up . I attached mine in the corners of tarped area. They will love that.

In the early mornin' light, the rooster starts to crow, Got my boots on, ready to go, Out to the yard, where the chickens roam free, But they need a coop, that's the key. Building up a chicken hoop coop, Where the hens can lay and the chicks can snooze, Underneath the open sky, They'll scratch and peck, oh me, oh my! Got the frame all set, sturdy and strong, Cover it up, won't take long, With wire mesh to keep predators away, Our feathered friends will have a safe place to stay. In the afternoon sun, they'll bask and preen, Living the good life, like a queen, Eggs in the nest, fresh and warm, This chicken hoop coop is our farm's charm. So here's to the coop, our pride and joy, Where our chickens roam, without a ploy, In the chicken hoop coop, they'll happily dwell, In our backyard, where life is swell.

What are your dimensions, on width and height? I need to build a few structures out of these, and I'm wondering if I can make them tall enough. Good job, btw.

The base was 7’ wide x 16’ long. Height ended up around 6’ 1” to 6’ 2” or so. I had just enough room to walk inside. Thank you for the support!

They will love it! Our birds are happier now. We let them free range and they go back in around dusk. No predator issues so far. Knock on wood

It looks great! The only suggestion I have is you may want to put their food container under the tarp in case it rains their food won’t get wet.
