This is one of the easiest way to make fabric storage/box at home I am happy to share with you all. This fabric box fitted perfectly for a standard size of square tissue box. With this new method you will never stop making them for your sewing room or anywhere you want to use it for. If you want to make smaller or bigger simply divide the length of the fabric into 3.. for example if I want smaller size like 9" then I divide it into 3 parts of 3" each and the wide size can be up to you how tall you want it to be

Mam, I just worked 52 hours at my job and I come home so very tired I haven't had any energy to unpack my new to me little home. I am so overwhelmed living in a sea of boxes and heafty bags full of fabric that I folded up nicely when I packed it. Only 2 little areas are decorated for my home for Easter and my goal was to have the living room near and move by next Sunday and I hope I make it. My home is so tiny from what I am use too . My Mom and I finally became roommates again after being apart for close to 30 years (we still saw each other often and every Sunday at church but I moved out when I was very young). When we became roommates in her beautiful house we had talked about rearranging her one guest room to put our sewing machines together and sew on Saturday. I use to make all my own clothes but the last so many years I started sewing lots of things to sell at craft sales. My mom saw this box idea a few years back and the few videos I watched the seamstress went very fast without talking. The measurements were put up fast. I watched a couple and just could not get the hang of it in my mind and other times I make hard patterns in a heart beat. Anyway, within 4 months of moving in with my mom she started not feeling well. She went for a full physical to rule out anything before she had her first cataract surgery. She even had a blood test and everything came up good so then her eye Dr did her surgery. I between having the resting f the eye to heal and starting the prep drops in the other eye she started feeling poorly clear out of the blue.y mom was very active in her church,she walked a mile a day, are good, took naps, loved to garden made the best meals for us. We had a super life together. Feb 10th she had eye surgery 2020 by Feb 28th she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. My interest to paint, make crafts and sew all were out on the back burner. I sewed one snappy pouch for her that she loved. As holidays approached I made crafts to decorate the house for Christmas and nice decorations with fabric to decorate the porch on 4th of July for us. We had a great 4th of July. I made homemade ice cream bars with strawberries and blueberries I decopaged clear plates on the back side with patriotic fabric. 3 weeks to the date my mom was gone 2021. I just recently started getting the itch to sew again. My bedroom is a nightmare with boxes by the sewing machine and I set goals for myself I never meet. In this new to me little flat as it's called I haven't much storage space for anything. The 3 closets are very small. The previous owner took out kitchen cabinets never put them back. He took out the sink vanity and replaced it with a pedestal sink. At the Princeton University student store I found nice white plastic boxes that hook together. I have them set up in my bathroom. I want to get a nice piece of wood for the top and stain it to dress it up. I was going to bring hard cardboard boxes home from work that hardware comes in and cover them with fabric. But now I see your awesome video on how easy it is to make these awesome boxes. I just need to get the pellon as I have lots of fabric and buttons. I am so excited now this has spurred me on to get my room. In gear,oil my machine and get my dining room table clutter free put down the protection pads so I can cut fabric on. It's getting late on Saturday night and I have been on the couch the entire day. Tomorrow is church with my dad and I do not clean house on Sundays. I hope I get off by 5 on Monday so I can come home while I still have good day light and work on my bedroom and organize that part of the room so I can start sewing. I want to rewatch the beginning of your video to get the correct measurements. I want to make a box for each cubbie in my bathroom to put my bars of soap in and boxes of toothpaste. My clean combs and brushes and hair accessories. I wish my mom was alive now to see what a wonderful pattern this box is and I wish I could make her one. I noticed you have a magnetic foot guide too to make sure you sew straight. I have been wanting one. Thank you for adding a spark to my evening. I am sorry for the novel. OMG!!! Reading your message about you and your mom, first, I felt happy that you and your mom got to stay together,, then after a short time, sad thing happened and she left you, I feel your pain because my mom came to my house and helped me took care of my twin, she got her monthly check up , blood work and nothing, one day, she complained her stomach hurts, took her to emergency and there she found out she has lymphoma stage 3. After 2 months she passed away, I got so depressed and didn’t eat for a week, I almost die, but my twin kept me alive. From then whenever I go for physical, I asked for blood work specific for cancer because normal blood work won’t show if you have cancer or not. Nothing worse than loosing a loved ones especially our parents, doesn’t matter how old we are, they are our mom and dad that care for us. My pleasure to know your story and please feel free to share whatever you want, I believe sometimes talking to someone will make us feel better too. My channel I created is a family friendly channel, everyone here with me since pandemic when we handmade face masks. Hi Vivian, I can make this for the Grandchildren to put their Easter eggs in love it. My eldest Grandson (22yrs) is in hospital having a abscess removed from the back of his leg.
