So, I've been searching and searching, but I cannot find a single mechanically processed bamboo linen product. Additionally, since the term linen is often used to refer in general to bedding, searching for mechanically processed bamboo is made even more difficult. I simply cannot find anyone who is truly selling what you have communicated as "bamboo linen". I have seen some people documenting their very small, very personal bamboo linen operations, but they are not selling a product.

They say bamboo fabric cuts out 98% of harmful UV rays but check with the supplier of the specific item to make sure.

Let's make this simple, like the USA does: It's illegal to refer to any of the types of bamboo made into fabric as "bamboo fabric" It has to be labelled, referred to, or advertised as Rayon, Modal, Lyocell, etc, with possibly a very minor mention of the origin (It could also be wood pulp (sawdust, beech trees etc.) Eucalyptus, etc. I don't see anyone advertising "Beech tree fiber" by the way. And Rayon just isn't as durable as cotton, and typically needs to be hand-washed and treated with care. One reason? WE GROW cotton! WE avoid bamboo, an invasive grass imported from China!

I was browsing some brands based in the UK. There is no way to tell from their website literature what kind of bamboo fabric they are selling. Also, you are mistaken about the "invasive grass". This is because the most desirable bamboos for fabric are clumpers, not runners. Runners are invasive, clumpers can only spread if you absolutely ignore them for decades. Even if you let a clumper go, it is unlikely they would ever form a footprint as exclusive or expansive as running varieties. People need to understand this basic distinction.

I also have some bamboo pieces. I bought these before I knew better. I still wear them but I wouldn't buy more because now I know better.
