This is what I will say about ecommerce in Africa_Most people have and continue to approach it from the angle of opportunity, which is why many still fail, rather than taking time to ask what problem they are trying to solve! Seems to me, listening to this conversation, Sokowatch is also leaning to what the opportunity is rather than finding the problem to solve! No one has cracked the ecommerce nut in Africa, no one!

May I ask if you could kindly highlight some of these problems?

@@ultronsam1214 A great solution is seen from where it places the customer rather than the story it tells aboit the customer. Many times, founders have created or defined a great problem customers are facing but when you take a closer look, it is actually not a customer problem but, rather, a narrative that shows us or supports how the money will be made! To solve the e-commerce challenge in Africa, one has to start off by understanding and solving for consumers, outlets, stokiests, logistics and production or manufactuting with everything startinh from the consumer and working through a value chain that represents all parties involved. Most solutions are seen to rise at the expense or cost of a key element in the value chain!
