The baby daddy? Not good. I finally left him when he dangled my daughter by the arm, beating her because she didn't put her toys away. I grabbed her and ran. He moved a long way away, but because the courts think DNA is an important parental process, he did get to see her regularly. When she was a teenager she chose to cut ties after she saw his rude behavior. She tried again as an adult with her own son, and after he scared the hell out of the child she said enough. I am proud of the strong woman I raised.

Married him. Was boyfriend / girlfriend for 10 years after HS, now married for 21 years. We always talk at how lucky we are to find love at 15 ( he was 14). Staying together and loving each other no matter what takes passion, compassion, kindness, understanding and patience. Love is always front and center even when you’re not feeling that in love. But oh boy, the rewards are tremendous. We have 2 girls and just contented with our family.
