this is such a fun challenge :D now that i think about it, i feel like this would be an interesting challenge in stardew too! since theres so many variables And some requirements for certain fish 🤔 though it would probably take longer since with ac you can just time travel and in stardew you have to manually sleep through the days

This is one of my favorite challenges you’ve done. It makes it unique because aside of the usual rng there certainly is more strategizing! Would you say it was more bait heavy than other fish related challenges you’ve done? The fishing models probably still take the cake though, right?

I’ve recently realized how the fact sea basses are so common in ACNH might be a pun from Nintendo’s part. The Japanese name for sea bass is suzuki. Suzuki is also a surname in Japan… an extremely common one, Suzukis are everywhere. Get it? Suzukis are everywhere…

Video/Stream Ideas: - Open a pack of Amiibo cards, go villager hunting until you find all of the villagers you pulled in that pack - Fill storage speedrun (Fill a maxed out storage shed, and fill every single plot of land on the island so that nothing else may be placed down) - Find every single villager Poster/Photo (Using online services) - Find every NPC/Villager possible in the roost as fast as possible or in the least amount of days - pay off debt speedrun using items that only start with the letter "___" (for example for the letter "S" you could only use items like the Sea bass, science pod, sample case, etc, to pay off your debt) - Scavenger hunt challenge using the dream islands "Surprise Me" Feature - Collect all DIY's and craft all the items - Collect all food recipes and craft them (and eat them) - See how many Sea bass you can catch in a row - Put random pitfall seeds across your island, first villager to fall into one you do a cosplay of (possibly a sub goal) Hopes this helps, love the videos bro, keep it up!

My first week playing I caught 4 mahi mahi’s in the span of about 10 minutes but couldn’t catch the golden trout for DAYS using hundreds of bait

I did it as a part of a forced restart because of a very broken switch and got 132 😁 Giant trevali and anjovi was my real issues. I was really lucky in some cases, like caugh a mahimahi while searching for other fishes.

There’s a donation box you can craft in the game. How long would it take to get enough money though donations alone to pay off the debt with Tom Nook? I’m guessing it’s the exact same as how long it’d take as getting them to donate to constricting the bridge, but I’d hope that a special property of the donation box being an interactive object would make a difference, especially since you can make more than one.

I wonder how much you could truly optimize this challenge using fish blindness to your advantage. I bet you could theoretically get close to a perfect score, if you somehow were able to deduce each fish's exact blindness from casting

It's definitely possible. You get ~20 chances to mess up before getting to 100, and then getting those 5 without repeats is doable. Somebody could do it if they tried hard enough, but it won't be me!

Technically you could soft reset every time you catch the wrong fish, so it wouldn't be too hard to get a perfect score. It just would not be fun at all.
