FINALLY, SOMEONE HAS COVERED THIS I AM AN EGYPTIAN AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR AGES FOR SOMEONE TO FINALLY COVER THIS STORY SA’KA 🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅 My thoughts: This video covers the topic very well from a non-biased point of view. However it only covers operation sinai and operation eagle, it does not cover the history of islamists and the egyptian people. This is a story that spans back to the 1900s Here are some points that the video overlooked. Morsi was not “affiliated” with the islamic brotherhood or associated with them. He was THE islamic brotherhood. His administration was essentially the islamic brotherhood. When morsi took power the country was almost crippled, christians being massacred on facebook left and right, all development ceased, nothing was running anymore. Churches and mosques being blown up in “the name of allah”. Children being thrown of rooftops. Even prior to morsi, after mubarak’s fall the islamists had opened up every single prison in egypt, we were following iraq’s story bit by bit. Egypt was the wild west between mubarak and morsi, during morsi it was the sharia abiding diddy party. The people never wanted morsi in power, and the military did not want the islamists in power. So the military hand in hand with the people overthrew morsi. I remember when i was a child during the riots against morsi, i was kidnapped during one but my dad and family took me back from my captors. God knows what would have happened to me. I remember we had my sister’s volkswagen and id be sitting on the roof of the car waving an egyptian flag amidst all the chaos, it really was a chaotic time. When the riots ended and el sisi took power, a complete shift against the islamists happened. We were gangbanging islamists everywhere from sinai, to the western desert, east and west europe (clandestine GIS operations) until today where they squirm like worms in the dirt. This is a war on every front, military, economic, political, and even cyber. This was a masterclass in counter-terrorism Edit: some updates on the islamist situation in egypt Islamists have planted their way of thinking into almost everybody, they have corrupted islam as a religion. Unfortunately everybody subscribes to at least one or two of their ideas without even knowing it (thank you sheikh al-azhar for being a certified cuck) Economically they control much of the businesses and money in egypt. The thing about the muslim brotherhood is that half of them are not devout muslims. There are rich boujee billionares who put diddy to shame that are affiliated with the brotherhood. Its just an organization that exists to destroy this nation. They run many of the big businesses in egypt and control most of the money, their competitor is the military in all markets Politically, its complicated. Islamists hold almost no political power here in egypt except for one slight change as of this year. The newly appointed minister of education (Mr mohamed abdel latif) is the founder of a prestigious school called nermein ismail. This school is also associated with islamist ideologies and generally hosts many islamist teachers and graduates. He himself is an islamist i am very sure of this. Especially when he cancelled philosophy as a subject for high school. I don’t know who appointed this guy, but i hope they know what they’re doing. Militarily? Oh our eagles are soaring waiting for one slip up. One slip up and BOOM we get to test the new SIGs we got last year. Im genuinely waiting for them to try something.

I have not even heard of it the western media is really annoying, the criteria for a news story is much more fulfilled with this story than the for all my life conflict with Gaza and Israel but they cover it like it’s something new, I’m not sure how new this is because they never talk about it 🤷♂️ the fact that you have to go on KZbin to get diverse news is really a big failure of the failing media

Then why you don’t go and ask your government friends the chosen ones, to keep his group outside the country. I was there as an observer in 2018 when the fighting was at its worst. I took fire multiple times from ISIS on video I still have. I come from the military reconnaissance community, and I observed insane firefights in optics and thermal in the north Sinai. The firefights were insane, and ISIS is evil, but they are brave. I can say, the fighting there was as bad as anywhere in the world that I am aware of. People have no idea. Years of tanks, rocket artillery, and every kind of CAS strike you can imagine. I saw FOBs overrun, and it was a real lesson in war. It was a full scale war that even saw the cell towers destroyed to disrupt communications. Even cell towers in Iraq and Afghanistan weren’t destroyed. Rafah was basically a loose secret until this year with Israel, but I’ve been telling people: it’s been BAD for a long time.

In fact, the Egyptian people were against the military coup and there have been no elections or democratic life since the 2013 coup. If it was a revolution, it would have become a democratic life. We do not have a parliament, a constitution, or a free media. All of them are tools of the coup and are appointed by Sisi and his police. 2- Tens of thousands of peaceful protesting young men and women were killed in the streets and hundreds of thousands were arrested in prisons by Sisi. Even the first elected president was imprisoned for 10 years in solitary confinement without visits or legal right to defense. 3- The police and army led by Sisi bombed thousands of homes and killed innocent people in Sinai to displace them not because they were with ISIS. 4- You did not mention that Hamas helped the Egyptian army eliminate ISIS. Fun Fact: Whenever Western Media felt the need to share the news about Egypt's war on terrorism with their people they often talked about how bad the Egyptian military is for treating terrorists so harshly, they wept for them and called upon Human Rights Watch to do another false report about Egypt. Every two days HRW would side with the terrorists and make a false report about Egypt, and at the same time our people were being massacred by them, they were on a mission to stop our Army from making our country safe. If you don't believe me go and read their reports about the war in Sinai, and you will know now that most of them were false for sure, but at the time you would have believed it and you would have called for the world to sanction Egypt like what Liberals did.
@fungibleunit4477Ай бұрын
There does need to be accountability otherwise you end up with tyranny. For that to happen there needs to be scrutiny. I went to the Siani peninsula last year. I was a little concerned about security but the Egyptian government clearly takes security really seriously. The region represents a large tourism asset to the point that after a terrorist attack at Sharm El Sheikh years ago they went to the lengths of putting up a massive "peace wall" around the small city and very staunch and relatively high tech checkpoints where everyone is checked and questions are asked. There are more checkpoints and patrols near towns too such has Dahab and they actually seems to take their job seriously. "Rugged" barely describes the terrain. The jagged and incredibly crumbly vertical mountains would be actually impossible for a force to operate over. All the roads are overlooked by high ground and blind corners so it would be trivial for even a poorly trained force to mount a successful defence and stop movements. Just my two cents.

Hamas is actually interested in chaos in the Sinai region. The reason is that Israel handles arms smuggling effectively, but leaves smuggling control on the Sinai border to Egypt as to not interfere with their sovereignty. So all that time that Egypt couldn't control ISIS, Hamas thrived.

Egypt's intelligence service is also quite capable. GIS in my personal opinion is where most of the Gitmo detainees should have been sent from the beginning since 2001. i would like to highlight druing that period egypt image and global position were really suffering from the rule of the Muslim brotherhood which lead to a preserved weak image from a military point of view. hamas started to increase its smuggling, the brotherhood started creating more militias and the Libyan bored started flooding the country with weapons add a sharply declining economy and weak political leadership and that was the edge of the cliff for our military leadership that's why that had to take control. from then on forward it was a war on three fronts east, west and everywhere in between, the media blackout on the subject was a must in my opinion as the country needed to look secure just for the economy to stabiles, then the army started dozens of major military operations to restore nationwide security but heavily focused on Sinai and the libyan border. Sometimes its better to not know than know, case in point the Israeli military recognized the importance of having a stable secur egypt rather then having the 10th largest weapons arsenals in the hands for terrorist, and they didn't want u guys to know about that as much our government didn't want us know about the scale and extend of the war. that started a secret temporary alliance between egypt and Israel for the first time in history fighting the same enemy and securing the same border and our government was showing off on a weekly basis how much of hamas tunnels they were flooding and destroying. nowadays Israelis think that egypt is out to get them but the reality is the Israeli government is trying to score political points to appease to their people rather actually secure them and nobody will pay the bill more in the long run with these policies other than Isreals so today the tables have turned were u find the Israeli political leadership forcing the military leaders and the population into a war with no end as egyptians we didn't just understand it we lived it and in my opinion the Israeli military leadership seems to be the cool heads that should run the country. weird how we can have have a civilized conversation today and share battlefield tomorrow just because our governments said so

What is special about this war is that some of the shots are real shots from inside the war. So I recommend the first part. And out of curiosity, the second part is about the revolution. I really don’t recommend the third part because it talks about the current Sisi era, so there are some things that are biased towards him. But I strongly recommend the first parts.

He did the super undercover shit with a group. They called the unit. Not Delta force it’s a special missions unit that basically does reconnaissance. They don’t wear military uniforms or anything like that. He was actually shot a few times in Somalia and an AK-47 out of the guys hand, and then one of his teammates noticed and took him to the hospital. He lost a kidney. His book is called the unit.
